The Craft 1996 DLC idea
Hello team of dead by daylight, my name is Antonia and I’ve been a big fan of dead by daylight ever since I used to watch H2O delirious and his friends play way back in 2016-2018. Ever since 2021 I’ve had this idea of dead by daylight collaborating with the 1996 film “The Craft” that stars Fairuza Bulk, Robin Tunney, Neve Campbell, and Rachel True.
The idea is that Nancy Downs (Fairuza Bulk’s character) would have been sent to the asylum, and during that time she would’ve called out to the deity Manon. But instead the Entity had came to her and offered her power, because throughout the film that’s what she craved the most. So she would’ve been taken into the entity’s realm and asked for Sarah Bailey (Robin Tunney’s character) to be brought in as well.
I truly believe that The Craft is suitable for dead by daylight, the story would fit perfectly with any in game lore the developers would introduce, the characters are perfect, Nancy blood thirsty for power and recognition, and Sarah doing anything she could to defend herself.
Both Nancy and Sarah are suitable survivors, both characters experiencing rough living and witnessing supernatural forces. Nancy craves power whilst Sarah just wanted to feel safe and secure. Throughout the film Nancy had shape shifted and showed supernatural abilities, so her abilities would allow her to shape shift into survivors, and when she’s ready to strike she’ll be able to jump out and scare the players. I personally think Nancy would be loved, as her gothic 90s style is similar to that of Sable Ward who is very beloved in the community.
