My problem with special vaults and breaks.

I know the very obvious answer is why are we nerfing an already mid perk but my main problem with this is why are we taking unique interactions between killers and perks and just removing it? This already happened with Bamboozle and unbound so why are we now doing it to an interaction that has been in the game way longer than either of those two have been. It’s just kinda lame and makes build crafting more stale to me.

    If this is about Spirit Fury, Bamboozle and Thwack, I can confirm that these perks will currently remain as they are on Live - so the activation conditions will be reached with both Basic and Special attacks. However with Bamboozle the speed will not be given on a special attack only the window blocking feature - same as it is on the current live version.

    This is good then. On a side note on the perk descriptions, if only a handful of perks have special-vault and special-break interactions that are unique, then it's probably better to just specify "Works with special break/vault" or "Doesn't work with special break/vault" on those perks, and instead have what a special-break or special-vault is be part of the "Extra Info" tab of the perk, aka "A vault or break that is done using a killer's power instead of the regular way".

    This would let the rest of the perks and addon descriptions call a regular vault or break just "vault" or "break", not "basic-break", etc, which would look a lot more understandable and less clunky, only using specific wording when it's actually needed.
