Developer Hypocrisy: Since Wesker techs were a bug, when are yall gonna nerf heal tech?

Point tech and heal tech remain untouched, yet killer power techs like hug tech and flicks are being removed.

Survivor techs like heal techs are abused making the already strong survivor endgame even stronger. How come this is not being addressed?

This would be a valid point if we were discussing something trivial, but the removal of Wesker's "techs" noticeably hurts the character's strength. It's not petty or "kindergarden" to call that out.

If Wesker can't have his "techs", then why should any other Killers? Why should the Survivors? If we're going to balance Wesker around only being able to do what was strictly intended, then it only makes sense that we treat the whole roster equally.

Aren't they already attempting to reincorperate most of Wesker's techs? Feels like this question is flawed at its core.

Also heal tech isn't even a real tech, it's just a mechanic, so it doesn't really make sense to bring up in this way. Point tech going wouldn't be too bad, but if anything shift tech is what should be addressed the most.

It's not a good approach in my opinion.

Instead of asking to ruin other killers, or survivors. You should complain about the change in first place.
It doesn't make sense to make everything worse, just because 1 thing got worse.

Was I annoyed when they nerfed Oni? Definetly, but I was complaining about the change, never asked for others to get same treatment, because I don't believe it was good change.

Removing all bugs (techs) would make the game definetly worse and boring.

There is no hypocrisy if they are looking to reincorporate some of Weskers.

How come we even try to compare something being an issue all game while the other one is a niche situation, hardly ever happening at all?

Not even going to discuss the differing actions as they are not comparable.

Wesker had some "techs" that most people were very aware were bugs and not the base part of his kit - now the refactor did fix a lot of these techs as we saw on the PTB. Now we have done a lot of work in the time between PTB and Release to address these and make sure they're implemented properly into his kit - am not saying every single one but the majority for sure.

If you're finding things that are different then please head over to Betahub and report them as a bug and add video to show what you're referring to, thank you.

ok Ive had many people try and argue this so im trying to get a direct answer all/most of weskers techs are bugs and not intended for his kit things such as hug techs/bluetooth and other slide techs right?

just because the Community calls different mechanics ‘… tech’ doesnt mean they are all comparable and should be treated the same. Not intended mechanics and bugs should be acknowledged and then fixed, while intended mechanics (and even unintended ones that are later deemed good for Balance or just gameplay) should be acknowledged as such as well and probably ‘fixed’ as in coded intenionally in.

So.. the actual Problem here is that communication doesnt really take place too well, so we don’t know if well known or recently discovered ‘techs’ are intentional or unintentional and fixing bugs is something that may take waaay too long (and thus the Community comes to think that these not acknowledged unintended features are actually wanted and then understandably react accordingly when something gets taken away they are accustomed to)

Wesker teleports into his grab are things since he came out, lately feeling even worse. I don't know, what's the point of juking when you tp 5m back after turning corner?

Then I agree that heal tech should be removed. To those who are not on spot, heal tech is when you heal survivor in dying state to disable killer's ability to pick them up and force them to hit you and suffer the attack cooldown. It's mainly used to reposition in exit gate.

With Wesker's bugs, he feels horrible to play with his enormous grab hitbox, however I feel that he still needs more buffs. Once those are made he might be adjusted a bit so the survivor pov actually matters in term whether you will get grab or not.
