Feedback on Spirit’s Directional Audio

I recently played Spirit again, both as and against her, and I really noticed how strong the directional audio has become.

While I understand the intention behind adding more counterplay, it currently feels a bit excessive. Spirit’s identity has always been built around unpredictability and uncertainty, and this change reduces that aspect quite a lot.

I think it would be better to keep the directional audio, but make it less precise or more ambiguous. That way, survivors still have some form of feedback, while Spirit can retain the core identity that makes her unique.

A killer’s identity is important and should be preserved as much as possible, especially when it comes to how their power feels to use and play against. Many players choose to main a killer for specific reasons, and sudden changes to that identity can feel jarring.

I believe the core identity should never be fundamentally altered - adjustments are fine, but the essence should remain intact.

    agreed, i think the closer to the husk you are the weaker the audio should be (i.e. overextending)

    would make her more vicous for short loops and far harder to avoid, but easier to avoid at longer ranges as the audio would become more pinpoint

    but you are asking on the forums, and the devs are super mask off here about their contempt for most killers unfortunately..

    I just started to play Spirit again after years of bearly touching her, because she got changed A LOT.

    She is kinda easy to predict because of that audio que. But as playing her, you really need a good headset to ve able to hunt down survivors.

    I do wish as soon as her starting to phase, chase muaic has to cut off, because hearing is importaint.

    Some add-ons I will never touch while plauing spirit:

    1. Seneko Hanabi

    • When yamokas haunting ends. The spirits husk explodes and any vault locations within 4 meters are blocked for 5 seconds

    This has potential, but never experienced any Spurits using this add-on. And I'm not interested to use this. 4 meters should had been 15 to 25 meters.

    2. Mothers glasses

    • Survivors trigger killer instinct when they come within 2 meters if the husk

    Thus add-on should had been mixed with Wakizashi saya to be good. That addon while haunting u get the option to return back to the Husk. This would had been useful if it did something else.

    3.Yakuyoke amulet

    • increases yamokas haunting duration 70%
    • Decreases tamokas haunting movement speed by 15%

    For me these add-ons are useless and needs a change.

    I remember we had silent phasing, and I fell in love with her because of this. I loved being scared by this! And scaring other survivors with this.

    If there were a way spirit could build up a power to make survivors not hearing the phasing, or becoming less predictable with the sounds until silent or something.

    I would love if Spirit got a little rework in the future.
