Add Bradley Walsh to DBD
Hi Foggers,
anyone who has ever heard of anything ever will have heard the word that is that the best TV game show in the world is 'The Chase', starring hit TV presenter and gaming aficionado Bradley Walsh as, well, the presenter of the show.
In this game show you have 4 contestants (or as I like to call them, 'Chasees') pitted against the Chaser, who themselves is a quiz mastermind, for potentially thousands (and sometimes tens) of pounds. The contestants must take turns to answer multiple choice questions to secure their money in the prize pot. When all four Chaselings have been successful or eliminated (they are taken off stage, upon which a loud gunshot is heard. Coincidentally, Bradley is always, in all 2,500+ episodes, nowhere to be seen during a contestant's elimination), the show culiminates in a final chase where the Chaser attempts to catch the Chasermites through again a series of questions, all read out by beloved TV presenter and expert Clay Pigeon Hunter Bradley Walsh.
I think Bradley would be the perfect addition to the game and could really help bolster the playerbase, particularly in the British 40+ demographic. Bradley himself is a huge fan of the game with over 1000 hours of playtime and according to his Instagram story he loves playing Sable and Legion, though he does also "love opening chests, because you never know what you're gonna get". He could either be a survivor or killer. When he starts a chase, he could say his iconic catchphrase "The Chase™ is on!" complete with backing music to really immerse the player. When he sucessfully hooks a survivor, he could say "You have been caught, and for you the Chase™ is over!" Additionally, while struggling on the hook instead of those lousy skill checks Bradley could ask you a series of multiple choice questions on various trivia subjects, including but not limited to the sporting occupation of one Fanny Chmelar. A correct answer would move you further across the board towards the goal of self-unhooking, while an incorrect answer would decrease your struggle timer. Upon death you would hear, of course, the iconic music que, which goes something like dede dededededeDE.
The map could be set in The Chase™ Studios. Imagine looping Wesker around the iconic Chaser board, or posing for a cute yet comically hilarious pic sitting in the Chaser's iconic Chasing Chair™. The possibilities are endless!
Legendary skins could include Chaser Mark Labbett ("The Beast") as a Nemesis legendary, Darragh Ennis as Vecna (the purple or not purple one) and Anne Hergerty as a Skull Merchant Ascended skin.
I am open to comments and suggestions, but please note, Behaviour, that if you are able to take this idea to market and secure the licensing rights I will accept no less than a 67% stake of the profits.
