what happens if i run do no harm which gives 50% healing speed for 1 hook state and i run botany knowledge which gives 50% healing speed

so which perk will receive diminishing returns if both modifiers are equal in value and there is no biggest modifier value will both not be given diminishing returns or will one be given diminishing returns

just want to know if y'all officially accounted for equal values

Its been a while since I tried to calculate this stuff but if im correct, currently with the 100% from well make it + 100% from do no harm + 50% from Botany, a 16 charge heal would take 4.57 seconds. With the new double diminishing returns it would take 6.1 seconds. Which is laughably terrible for 3 perks invested considering we'll make it by itself would do it in 8 seconds.

I would expect it to just take either of the 100% values first and then diminish from there. If its coded correctly of course...

I would also expect the diminishing returns to only be in effect while both perks are actively increasing heal speed. So once we'll make it runs out, Do No Harm would apply its 100% and Botany would apply half of its 50% (25%) which would get further diminished to uselessness by the way healing charges are applied.

What does it even matter which 100% perk gets the reduction? In both cases it comes to the same result. Either its 100 + 50 or 50 + 100.

Diminishing can only apply if a perk is active. Active: 100% for WWMI + 50% for Botany. Deactivated: 100% botany.

Just to add some clarification to your comment its not exactly 100 + 50 cause its a 50% reduction to the perks already base value and since botany has 50% base value it would be 25% + 100% in both case your right but its 50% of its value which means its 25%

but i do get what your saying but just saying 100 and 50 can confuse others cause its not the actual percentage
