default bond when?
You want to balance the game around SWF that's what you said during a live stream
So the first step should be to adjust solo gameplay so far that there's no more difference between both gameplays. Starts with a counter for how many totems left, goes along with a default bond so every survivor can see each other. A default Kindred so if the killer hooks someone, everyone else can see the killer camping (8m around the hook)
Now those conservative killer mains come and say: hey but thats completely broken
yea for the current state of game it's a big deal but our devs proved us that they're able to balance the game. Making those Perks as default for every survivor would allow many new things and steps to do with killer to make the killer experience more exciting. Yea of course this would cost some time but it would fix the solo vs swf problem.
solo q's are BRUTAL
and just because no one knows what the others are doing
if you want this as an hardcore mode - dbd solo survivor as it is now, then make it to an extern mode but please exempt us with this awful gameplay. Dbd isnt sneaky. and every mod and dev who's saying this is telling bs #nooffense
It isnt sneaky with Whispers, Nurses, BBQ, Murmer, Legion, Doc, Frederick. Yea sneaky plays to outplay and lose the killer yea that's ok but that's part of a good juke and has nothing to do with a stealth and sneaky game

Default bond? Devs were thinking about default kindred only, let's get that first before even thinking about default bond beeing a good or bad thing lol0

Thing is built in bond would be even more powerful than SWF.
SWF at least have to describe to each other where they are. That's not always so easy.

tbh showing how many totems are left for everyone would be such a quality of life update.
with this simply change nobody could ever complain about noed again.

I don’t think you’re focusing on the real problem with SWF. The problem with SWF is their ability to have one person distract the killer while the other three do generators so at least three are done before the first hook. Then the coordination leads to one person being designated to save the hooked one while the other two continue on gens (or one distracts the killer). It’s the ability to instantly coordinate and designate roles so there’s no overlap that makes SWF strong. Bond or a totem tracker or whatever wouldn’t fix that.
Solo queue sucks purely because of how often there’s overlap in what people do. A person gets hooked? Usually more than one survivors runs in for the save. Oh someone just got injured? I guess I’ll stay here crouched behind something not contributing. Once more people get better at understanding what should be done at different points of the game, that’s how you bring solo queue up to match SWF.0 -
