9 Bug-Safe Legendary/Bloody & Crossover Skin Concepts for Original Killers
I am a fan of diverse horror and pop culture, and I have an idea for a collection of nine unique Legendary or Bloody crossover skins specifically tailored to BHVR's original killers, featuring their own unique Voicelines and custom Mori animations to making them completely safe for the engine by utilizing existing animation rigs and skeletons.
Since I see no point in switching to Discord or Reddit for the ideas and concepts I have in mind (where they would likely just get lost amidst nonsense spam without being seen) I’ve decided to post everything currently on my mind here before the forum closes.
Here are my concepts and why their silhouettes and mechanics match perfectly:
The Epic Crossover Collection
- 1. Skeletor (He-Man) ➔ Skin for The Knight
The ultimate cartoon villain fits perfectly over the Knight's heavy armor skeleton. Instead of standard guards, he summons his iconic henchmen like Beast Man or Trap Jaw to do his bidding. He would absolutely need his iconic, mocking laugh as custom Voicelines and a unique Mori!
- 2. Alex Mercer (Prototype) ➔ Skin for The Legion
Much like the HUNK skin, Mercer fits the agile, human-sized stature of The Legion perfectly. His Feral Frenzy sprint perfectly mirrors his superhuman agility from the Prototype games, and his bladed/mutated arm serves as the weapon.
- 3. Grunt (Amnesia) ➔ Skin for The Hag
The terrifying, deformed Grunt matches The Hag’s distorted, asymmetrical posture perfectly. It prowls around slightly more upright but uses her claw-slashing animations flawlessly, accompanied by the spine-chilling Amnesia monster sounds.
- 4. Venom (Marvel) ➔ Skin for The Artist
The Symbiote is the ultimate fit for her kit. Instead of ink and crows, Venom fires liquid symbiote-spirits that swarm the Survivors. The entire dark, ink-based aesthetic of The Artist translates flawlessly into Marvel's iconic symbiote look, complete with a brutal Symbiote-Mori.
- 5. Ted the Man-Thing (Marvel) ➔ Skin for The Dredge
Marvel's swamp monster is a massive, organic mass of muck and roots. This amorphous, monstrous design fits The Dredge's locker-teleporting and darkness manifestation perfectly without needing human proportions.
- 6. Malthael (Diablo 3) ➔ Skin for The Nurse
The Angel of Death naturally hovers above the ground and wields dual sickles, making him the absolute perfect visual fit for The Nurse’s floating animations and general movement model, enhanced by dark, angelic sound effects.
- 7. Scarecrow (Batman: Arkham Series) ➔ Skin for The Doctor
The Master of Fear fits The Doctor’s madness-inducing theme flawlessly. Instead of static electricity, visual hallucinations of the "Fear Gas" and Scarecrow's syringe-glove would visualize the madness tiers. Custom Voicelines about fear would make this skin a masterpiece.
- 8. Security Robot (The Callisto Protocol) ➔ Skin for The Trapper
This heavily armored, brutal, and mechanical security droid matches The Trapper's wide, menacing M1 silhouette perfectly.
The Trap Feature: Instead of old bear traps, it places high-tech Sci-Fi floor traps. When a Survivor steps into it, they trigger a paralyzing electrical shock, reusing the exact baseline trapping animation while looking completely futuristic.
The Mori Feature: A brutal Mori where the robot completely stomps and crushes the Survivor with its heavy mechanical feet, reusing the crushing stomp animation logic from Nemesis's Mori.
- 9. Cosmo (Bad Channels 1992) ➔ Skin for The Houndmaster
A deep-cut horror cult classic! This alien creature fits the Houndmaster's stance perfectly. The code-safe highlight: Instead of a hound, he is accompanied by his small alien robot assistant. Instead of petting the dog, Cosmo occasionally hits the robot on the head, reusing the exact baseline animation layout.
By matching these iconic characters strictly to original BHVR Killers with identical body types, the development team can deliver high-value crossovers with unique Moris and Voicelines quickly and safely, without cluttering the game code with new gameplay powers or balancing risks.
