Day of the death inspired rift
Recently I've noticed that there is a huge Latino community of dead by daylight especially from Mexico and I thought, hey the day of the dead is one of the most well-known holidays in the world. If disney could take advantage of it why not dead by daylight, and then it came to me.. The best idea for a collab of dead by daylight with this holiday. A season rift inspired by the day of the dead just imagine it. "Tales of mictlan" with three killers as the most attractive part of the collab.
1.- The most important, the oni as mictlantecuhtli god of the dead. A thin, skinned body and exposed bones and organs. Instead of the cry of fury when activating the oni's fury, an Aztec whistle of death is heard, it lights up in a bloody red and leaves an orange trail of marigolds in its wake. Using a Macuahuitl instead of the kanabo and a ceremonial sacrificial mori (consumes the heart). I think it would be the most spectacular of all and it could use an obsidian spear instead of the katana.
2.- The Spirit as Mictecacíhuatl, goddess of bones. A slender female figure full of jewels, feathers, and bone ornaments. A face without skin or muscles, eye sockets that only have the shine of stars instead of eyes, and long black hair adorned with feathers. A sword made of broken bones (kimimaro style from naruto). I can only imagine a mori similar to what Vecna does, tearing off the skin and organs of their victim and sending the bones through their cloak to Mictlan. In its sounds effects, I can still hear the classic lament of the spirit, but I can also imagine hearing the sound of bones breaking as she twitches.
3.- Finally, it could be the hound master like the priestess of Mictlan. An elderly woman, adorned in jade, with long grayish hair in braids, a mask of the upper part of a skull, a feathered headdress, and a traditional Mexica ritual dress. Instead of her usual dagger, she uses a ritual Técpatl bone knife. Her companion is a Xoloitzcuintle dog decorated with luminescent paint that leaves a trail of marigold flowers that the priestess can follow to gain the heist.
4.- I haven't thought of anything specific for the survivors, maybe David King as a colonizer, although that would be historically incorrect, or Soma as a human sacrifice who escaped (since in his lore that's basically what he is). I even thought of another killer like Mometzcopinqui the shape shifter witches.
