Break the totems or avoid being seen at the end and get out ASAP.

@Orion except you know, bitter murmur is a thing.

Except, you know, distortion is a thing.

@Carpemortum Except you know there's only 3 tokens, or I should just stay in a locker half the game.

So bitter murmer tags EVERYONE every gen? No, only once. Get away from them before they finish. Dont act like an idiot.  Or are you now expecting all killers to run murmer AND another aura perk? Its not hard to hide.

@Carpemortum Relax why do y'all get so agitated? Also yeah killers have multiple aura reading perks, BBQ most commonly and sometimes there's no locker in sight so it uses the tokens.

I'm perfectly calm lol. Yes, killers have multiple aura perks, but most dont run 2 or 3 and waste the slots to avoid doing thinking.

If you assume that they're running bitter AND bbq, and that they're only using 2 non aura perks (aka the ones most people use) you can still avoid 3 full uses. If you know they have bbq after 1 use, you hit lockers when people go down. Find one when someone gets hit. Then you have distortion for bitter murmer.

But to further upon you mentioning lockers. If you're WORRIED about bitter murmer (as in the situation you proposed against hiding late game), nothing changes. If you notice a token gone before the last gen, or even for that matter, when you finish a gen, you can plan to save a token for the endgame bitter murmer scenario.

It all boils down to playing smart and planning for the situation you have issues with.

And i'm getting kinda tired seeing only Megs & Claudettes, using only Sprint Bursts, Self Cares, Decisive Strikes, Dead Hards, Borrowed Times, Adrenalines & Urban Evasions.
Yes, of course i don't ONLY see those things. haHAA

@Boss don’t worry I don’t run the meta perks and I’m using Claudette rn since she has all perks but jeff’s perks.

Throw in Adrenaline and Deliverance too. Plus Nea.

Yup, that sums up 90% of the red ranks.

True, Adrenaline is one of them after the anti-heal patch.
But i'm honestly not getting Deliverances.
    Maybe i'm special. :p
    But yeah, Adrenaline added!

NOED is a crutch and supports bad habits. They are not going to get rid of it though. I stopped running it and got way better as killer with Trapper, Pig, Clown, Shape, and Cannibal.

It is horribly OP vs solo survivors too. Played the rare game of survivor without my wife and ended up as a 3v1. Three solo survivors ran circles around this really bad camping Bubba who stuck to his insidious stick in a 3v1. We cleared the gens, and then NOED kicked in. In chat after game, we figured out the three of us cleared 4 totems. In a 3v1 solo survivors, NOED is the only reason that guy got any kills. That rewards a bad killer.

NOED, like DS, is a crutch designed to give someone who played poorly an ez second chance.

As @Warlock_2020 said you get a lot better when you learn to play without it.

To me NOED is always a gamble. Often the game ends and the gens aren't done or there is a hatch stalemate. If I want to use it, I often have to allow the survivors to finish all gens and have my fun with remember me. And sometimes I am happy to smack some sassy survivors. But 1/3 cases NOED goes of and if you have done your job there are at max 3 survivors left.

Just don't play like a potato and cleanse some totems and you should be good to go.

Are you trying to say that if a killer lets the survivors do 5 gens, then he played poorly?

if you face NOED every game, why dont you focus the totems then?

i mean, if you can predict the incoming insta down, do something against it!

    its not that hard...

If he got 1-2 hooks during that time then yes.

But you can get 8 hooks and have all survivors escape. Is that really a loss?
