Many players who play Killers are weak
This game is so biased towards Killers that I have LOL'ed so many times reading Killer's gripes on these forums. In DbD the survivors have NOTHING, especially vs a good player with a hexed totem on gens who then camps said totem. Even the worst horror movies give survivors a realistic chance aka a gun or knife to at least temporarily hurt the killer. If you are scared by a few pallet drops then play a game where fairies fly around and kiss you or whatever would make you feel OG. If a survivor gets hooked early in game and the killer camps...the survivor is DEAD without getting to do ANYTHING. In almost ANY chase with almost ANY killer, even the best survivor has little chance to escape being hooked.
So Killers: If you are too weak of constitution to accept that sometimes survivors escape (just like in real horror movies where it is EXTREMELY rare that all "survivors" die), then maybe play some Pokemon game vs 3 year olds where you can defeat everyone every time? Survivors are the true OG in this game and I actually like all the challenges I just described...just tired of Killers pretending like there is even a SLIGHT chance the game is biased towards survivors 😂😂😂

Play killer a bit and your opinion will change.

This is just a camping post, did someone camp you DS Flashlight boy.

Yeah this one tried too hard I think

I never use a flashlight and I have thousands of games played & I get camped or a fellow survivor gets camped about 25% of the time...boring. And that is NOT the point of this post. The point is for Killers to stop whining since horror movie killers very rarely whine about someone pointing a flashlight in their face. This game is already in your favor...deal with a good survivor once in a while

Take your own advise and go play pokemon if you can't stand losing or getting killed. Or play killer as someone suggested, and come back and read your own comment once you reach R1.

Funny since I have died 1000 times, reached Level 1 many times & still play. Maybe go away, Troll?

Oh yeah sure they can camp to secure a kill... and watch as the other 3 escape no problem if they are smart and did gens during that time.
The amount of time it takes to bring a person from first hook to death is 120 seconds. During this time if you are camping the other 3 survivors will be doing generators which take 80 seconds each.
Over that time the 3 survivors can do 4 complete generators and be half way done with the 4th. And that's assuming they had 0 progress before you started, they will likely be done with all 5 generators before the sacrifice is finished.
The games where survivors have a gun to attack the killer usually also let the killer instantly eliminate the survivors (Deceit and Friday the 13th work like this). Here the Killer has to find each survivor 3 times to reliably kill them without letting them get the gens done like in the above situation. And that's assuming you win every chase you start which while the Killer is very likely to win each chase eventually the amount of time it can take means he can't afford to need the tools that make catching up inevitable. This is why looping is a problem. The survivor won't get away without help, but he will keep you busy and make it so you don't have time to camp them, combine that with perks like adrenaline which let you escape to the gates once you have bought all the time you are going to need and you have a very survivor sided game.
The reason you don't see survivors winning every game isn't because Killers are OP. But rather because survivors don't generally give it their all every game. If they did we wouldn't have the term gen rush, it would just be standard play.
Look up the depip squad for video's of survivors actually trying to win. Note how quickly they can win even though these are high ranked killers who know what they are doing.

You never played killer or hardly enough. That's why everyone laughs at your posts.
7 -
Level 1 is the starting point for every character. Try again my friend. Level has nothing to do with ranking.

Sorry this was a duplicate post so I deleted

You are correct...I tried it and didn't like it. More exciting to escape a monster with traps, invisibility, teleport, etc

Hey, keep in mind that you don’t have a game without Killers. Play nice.
5 -
Umm no I am not an "Elitist" so I don't really care what my ranking is...I know I am not the best but I am better than others and that's cool with me. Right now my rank is 6 and I have reached 1 every season I've played since November.

You are forgetting Altruism (both in the game and in real life). If I see a fellow survivor hooked, my 1st thought is trying to Unhook...not gen rush. But maybe that's just me. So I hate seeing camping because ultimately I try to save the poor survivor from a crappy game and then I get hooked 😝 but oh well...gonna keep trying to get those OG unhooks from right under Killer's nose lol!

Any competent survivor knows they have the upperhand when the team is focused with few to no mistakes. Solo or swf, when done right the killer can be left wasting huge amounts of time, crippling the chance of a snowball effect. Killer does have some good tools in their arsenals, but most are situational enough they can be avoided if you know what to watch for.

Try it and after you play for a while see if you are going to see things as you see them now.
1 -
Lol sorry I realized that so I changed "Most" to "Many" in my post. Prob less than 10% of the players who play Killer fit the whiner profile I posted about

Well, anytime someone who clearly shows he doesn't put enough hours into both roles comes to the forums and starts bashing, whining and calling their opponents names, is going to be met with disdain.
5 -
Killers aren't OP and survivor aren't OP either. That's all I'm going to say

<font color=#FCEA03>@bannerlemur seriously all you are doing is baiting to start a fight.

I just played 2 out of 3 games where the Killer was Myers who hooked 0 survivors combined between the 2 games...but Killed all 8. I didn't even know a Killer could kill the survivors without ever hooking them 1st. Never saw that until today. So anyone pretending the Killers are nerfed is wrong. I thought it was a cheat the 1st game until it happened again 2 games later...
2 -
Wait, how are new are you? There is something called Mori....

So you guys caught me...I was venting about the "Instadeath" situation since that is a stupid addition to DbD and anyone who came up with that one needs help. So it is pretty funny as a Survivor main to see Killers whining about flashlights & pallets
0 -
It's a troll or totally new at the game.
5 -
I never play as Killer and today was the 1st time I saw that happen BEFORE any hooks. I thought "InstaDeath" could only occur on a Survivor who had previously been hooked
0 -
Sorry but you are kinda weird...maybe you whine about flashlights & pallets or something? I touched a nerve 😘
0 -
(Dang, this forum thing is weird today! O.o)
Well, both sides have weaknesses and Strengths. For me, I survive about 1 out of 5 games, but it matters to me more if I was useful to the team and did not die like an idiot (And get many blood points), which involves about 9 out of 10 games. (These are guesses)

If you had any courage you would post from your main account. Too much of a coward I guess. I don't blame you, this was embarrassing.
Enjoy being roasted by everyone.

Can I block you on this...my only account? Just because it took me 4 months to sign up for forums means nothing. Just was surprised to see so many Killers complaining about the game somehow being biased towards Survivors since they sometimes actually Survive

Mhm.

I know what you mean. I really just aim for a +1 each game, whether I survive or not. That basically proves worth. Just sucks when you start a trial with the Killer right on your butt before you can do anything and then they face camp the hook or tunnel you after a Survivor was cool enough to unhook you. None of that involves skill and it sucks when it happens to you...or another survivor so you try to unhook them under the killer's nose lol! I guess I need to play Killer more to see their perspective cuz I do not get it. Nor do I see how face camping & tunnelling is fun (which is the point of video games...to have fun)

Hmm.... how much do you stealth? I like to stealth a lot with Nea and Claudette (Some people in post-game chat have called me useless for stealthing, but hey, survival and sneaking gens and safe hook rescues!)
Do you do any noise notifications like running vaults? Pallets throws? Hex Totem curing? Generator exploding? Also, do you always go to the first gen you see? I usually go to a far away one, work on totems and start on gens in less obvious spots away from start point when I see first person injured far away __or__ see the killer go somewhere far away.

I am not forgetting it. If you are camping a smart person is not going to go for the save and we don't balance around the idea of 1 person being stupid and the others being smart.
If the Killer ISN'T camping then altruism applies (and that fact is the biggest reason not to camp) and you will likely take the time to unhook them.
Now you could of course rightly point out that unless the Hooked survivor has Kindred you aren't going to know if the Killer is camping in order to do gens. However SWF throws that right out the window. In fact most of the balance issues with this game (not all) boil down to SWF making an otherwise balanced mechanic either OP or useless.
Why can you not camp the hook? SWF. Why are flashlights so strong? SWF. Why is NOED so easy to counter? SWF. Why are bond and empathy wasted slots? SWF. Why is looping so effective at buying time? SWF (unless it's the obsession. The point is that the others need to know about the chase to take advantage of it)
If you can give solo's the tools that make SWF strong then you can start to resolve those issues for real in order to make the game more balanced for everyone.
Just remember that right now if everyone played perfectly (including the killers) then Killers would never do better than a 1k.
Besides Nurse and Billy maybe. They might be fine given perfect play

Oh well yeah ofc I use a mixture of Stealth, pallet drops, Diversion & trying to evade chases with Lithe, etc depending on which character I am using at the time. I do often go to 1st Gen if I don't see Killer but not always. Depends on how I feel lol!
1 -
Neither side is OP but to be fair I have a rougher time as killer. (Rank 1 killer and rank 7 survivor)
0 -
Idk I have played solo 100% of my games. Never chatted with another survivor...ever. Not my thing. Maybe you are correct and that is the prob and that explains why I, as a Survivor main, don't get why Killers complain? Hmm thx for that...gives me a diff perspective to think about.
