Many players who play Killers are weak

It's an add-on for Michael, something like that can only happen with Michael. I hope this helps you understand

Then you are VERY bad at guessing...sorry to be the bearer of bad news

Yes that would do it. Solo's are meh against killers due to lack of coordination. SWF are OP AF.
I'd say Solo's vs Killer is slightly in the killers favor while SWF vs Killer is MASSIVELY in the favor of the survivors. This is because Solo's don't have enough information to even attempt optimal play without using all of their perk slots on it. SWF however get all the information they need and more without needing to spend a single perk or item on it.
Thus perkless SWF is still much stronger than Solo's with the best perks and items.
Basically, game is balanced around the idea that survivors won't have enough information to play optimally. With solo's this is true and works. With SWF this is false and breaks the game as a result. Imagine if you knew everyone's role from D1 in Town of Salem, this is a bit like that.
The only reason social deduction games don't have this issue is because out of game communication is both provable and bannable. That won't work here so we need an alternative solution.
You can't directly nerf SWF but you can directly buff solo's in ways that are redundant for SWF groups such as giving action icons that say what each survivor is doing (that the Killer can't see). From there you can buff the ######### out of Killers to handle the now omnipresent level of coordination (still less than SWF but once you take out the extra raw data they get you are left with teamwork which is a fair reason to win a game).

You have recognized that you barely played killer and you opine about killers balance...

I enjoy the challenge of Solo so I will keep at it! I was just shocked today with that Mori crap or whatever it is that Michael has...I hadn't seen that until today after 4 months of play! I thought for sure it was a cheat but it is even more annoying to see it ISN'T! He can freakin' kill all the survivors the 1st time he catches each of them? Wow...lame for sure
0 -
Nah it is still clearly biased in Killer's favor when playing solo...but I recognize the SWF issue that someone else brought up.
0 -
It's a rare add on or offering not a perk. And solo survivor is easy to pip and stay at rank 1, not a challenge unless you want to escape every time. It can be frustrating if you get bad teammates or killer decides to camp but you can afford to lose from time to time.

This bait post had no effort put into it. 0/10

Darn...I was hoping to Master Bait 😥

Play any killer and get to rank 1 at least. Then tell us that killers have the advantage. How can you know who has the advantage if you only play one side? You are clearly biased as I was once.

How did I not see it until today?? Every "Dead" I ever witnessed (or suffered) occurred after a Hooking? Is it new?

Oh God. I'm done.

I play rank 1 hag against an swf group nearly every game which is supposed to be one of her big weaknesses and I still 4k without camping, tunneling, or useing noed. I simply go for whoever activates my traps and the myc survivor. I'm assuming your still in low rank as killers in higher rank rarely camp enless there is a super toxic survivor that got on their nerves.
0 -
You are definitely correct that camping is seen more in lower ranks (such as the beginning of a new season).

It's an addon called tombstone. It lets Myers outright kill a player at tier 3 (like you just saw) however it makes it MUCH harder to build up to tier 3 and it reduces his movement speed.
In order to use it on all 4 survivors back to back he would need another addon that decreases his movement speed even more and makes it even harder to get to tier 3. So yes he can kill you the first time he catches you... after like 5 minutes straight of just stalking... and only IF he can catch you
0 -
Ahh that explains a few things...he did seem slow while he was camping at the Hexed Gen Totem 😂😂😂 but seriously his movement did appear slow until he chased me lol!

"Stop whining cuz in horror MOVIES killers don't cry about survivors escaping" good pont m8

He's kind of right. Many of the killers I come across are pretty bad. It's always 1-2 hooks per game and then they rely on the NOED crutch.
I do think killer is harder to master than survivor though. With survivor all you have to do to be effective is learn how to run in a circle around windows and pallets. As killer it's trickier to learn how to counter jungle gyms and window loops and the like.
2 -
I think, it will come with time. The more you play the more you understand that there is other ways to be effective as killer without crutch perks like NOED

Has played "thousands of matches"
Doesn't know about tombstone myers
Something doesn't add up...

It makes me sad to see low quality threads like this one getting so much attention while other threads with a lot of potential just disappear. Can we all try to make this forum a better place by simply ignoring low quality bait posts?

Look it’s one thing to say camping is unfair, and ask for a change, but we don’t bully killers around here. They need us as much as we need them.

This game takes time to get used to, and each side has their weaknesses. It has a fairly decent size learning curve for either side. Playing survivor or killer in bottom rank sucks Bc both sides are just learning how to play the game.

Sadly it's hard for good posts to get alot of views since they dont employ flashy or controvertial titles, and so get less views and replys. But perhaps we should start a movement?
0 -
I mean I've played probably about 3000k hrs by now and I've only come across a Myers willing to try those add ons a handful of times.

Sounds like somebody is salty
You also sound like the people who are cocky in lobby and give out some pretty salty endgame messages

Anyway, yeah, this is a bait thread. Plenty of killers who complain about imbalance are just bad, but that doesn't mean everything in this game is perfectly balanced or a cake walk for the killer.

3000k hours are 3 million hours :D

You can do better, try again

You clearly are new to the game, so may I suggest learning the game before discussing its balance?

I always look at survivors being able to loop as the main protagonist of a movie or something, i think to myself "Alright this person is good, i need to leave them alone and go for someone else" then it becomes like an actual movie, i slaughter his/her friends and then come right back for him/her. And it all boils down to that final battle of who is going to win. A supernatural, powerful being, capable of decimating anything and anyone in its path? Or a simple human being, who is but an ant in my eyes. The decisions i and that person make, will determine if they live or die.
But in all seriousness, a good survivor can only loop for so long, there have been times when i manage to avoid the killer for a certain amount of time, and it's only because i am the first one found and i know where most of the pallets are, or i manage to scrounge up enough time to avoid them and the last gen pops, survivors are not supposed to be powerful, back then, they were very strong, but still easy to down, simply because people were still new to the game. Nowadays i think that you're only going to come across one strong survivor in the group, and on the rare occasion some coordinated group. Whether you like it or not, killer was always meant to be strong and if you've gotten bodied enough to just now realize that, then i feel sorry for you. (Not really)

Then what rank are you? Asking out of curiosity

The bait was weak, try again.

And when done wromg, with 4 uncoordimated survivors, one gets hooked, 2 start heading over, and both assume the other has it. They split. Get caught near hook. One goes down and the 3rd is now chased.
I've died on hook watching 2 orn3 randoms flail about and finally try to unhook me, only making it 10x worse. 1 camped death turns into 3 with only 1 gen done.
Cant plan on only best/worst situations. Especially with no coordination.

Wait, so you've played 1000s of games as killer since november, and had ABSOLUTELY NO idea about tombstone Mike?
And didnt bother to check the loadout when it seemed fishy before the next encounter?
Not buying it.

I love how some people are saying that it’s a bad bait but there’s literally more than 800+ views and 95 comments.

I honestly wasn't trolling...at all. I was laughing at the players that play as a "Killer" complaining cuz the flashlights are bright and sometimes they get a wittle pallet dropped on em...grow some stones Killers. Most of you are cool...was only bagging on the whiners that have the power to kill my ass every time I play DbD but whine cuz we sometimes escape.
