Reigniting Hex Totems

Running a Hex and the survivors cleansed it right away? Why not reactivate it by igniting a dull totem? This would not be a perk or addon, it would simply be a base addition to all Hex perks.


Idea:

Whenever you hook a survivor, you have 30 seconds to find and ignite a Dull totem to activate a cleansed Hex. If multiple Hexes have been cleansed, the first Hex to be cleansed will be reactivated.

If a reignited Hex totem is cleansed, it’s Hex is out to the back of the reignitation queue.


Reigniting a totem takes three seconds.

    I think its great idea, but it needs some tweaks for every hex specifically. For example ruin, haunted grounds and lullaby activate 30s after reigniting (totems burn and can be rekt, but grant nothing), devour hope loose one or two stacks, third seal starting with 0 stacks again. I mainly play killers but i think survivors need some kind of reward for destroying those hexes even if they come back.

    This could even be a perk:

    Hex: Boosted

    Totems in trial: 5/6/7. Every standing totem grants 0.4/0.5/0.6% ms. You can ignite dull totems to activate broken hex perks.

    Why this ms? So perk has some uses even alone. 7 totems 0.6% each equals 4%, like noed.
