Offerings should prevent maps rather than force them.

Like the title suggests, addons should decrease the chance of a map appearing, with green addons preventing them completely.

The current system is flawed as a single player can force a lobby into a map which everyone else despises, this can easily kill the mood and promotes DCing during the offering screen.

I feel like it should be like that for survivor, while the killer ones should pick the map. There are some builds like scratched mirror myers that pretty much require specific maps, while many survivors will use them to abuse specific perks (like 4 balanced landings on haddonfield of the game) It might sound like a double standard, until you play both sides of it.

I would argue that someone who would DC for an offering would also DC upon seeing the map. Please don't forget that many don't load in and the infinite loading screen issue just seems to be getting worse. I know most of the games I played the other day had at least one person missing after a long loading screen. Still, I think it's fair the way it is now, though what Ryuhi said is also fine. Survivors really don't need a particular map and killers should have the most power in the game, ideally, so being able to choose a map could work to their favor while survivors could request to not get a map with their offering.

I want a brown (common) offering to enforce random maps (nullify any map offering). I barely ever use offerings (only BP ones) and I will probably NEVER use map offerings, thus having more trash that can actually be placed into an offering spot would be neat.
