Survivor idea: More than just an appearance
I think it might be cool if each survivor had a very (very very) minor buff in some way, maybe a slightly better buff with a debuff to accompany it. This would make it so we are not just picking our appearance, but it would make it similar to killer where we pick for playstyle.

This has been said alot and I agree, but these buffs would have it be SUPER minor like a flavor thing or else some survivors will be better than others

You would basically see only one survivor, the fastest one.

I had a pretty simple and implementable way of doing this;
Give them a free rank 1 personal perk slot. All Megs might have a crappier quick and quiet.
My other idea was a five way divide, with each individual having a worse stat;
Jocks (Speed): Vault windows and pallets slightly faster. (Meg, David, etc)
Nerds (Skill): Skill checks are slightly bigger. (Claudette, Feng Min, etc)
Survivalist (Perserverance): Voices are 10% quieter, 25% quieter when injured. (Jake, Bill, etc)
Kindred (Care): Healing noises are reduced by 25% and times are reduced by 1 second. (Laurie, Kate, Jeff, etc)
Leaders (Trust): Slight boost to non-healing, non-generator action speed while killer is chasing the Leader. (Dwight, Adam, etc)
The drawbacks would be along the line of;
Coward (Dwight): -25% skill check size in killer's terror radius.
Loner (Jake): Slight penalty when working in groups.
Creepy (Nea): Slight penalty to others when working in groups.
Con (Ace): Allied items wear out slightly faster.
Small (Feng): Killer can pick you up faster and move with you faster.
Strict (Adam): Non-progress for failed skill checks increased.

That being said, replace 'Coward' to 'Nervous' and we all good ^^
I also agree with giving every survivor a unique thing to them, was planning on making a discussion in the Survivor section but realised I didn't know what to give each survivor.
