Useless perks reworks - some propositions
We have seen some really good quality of life updates like surveilence, spies from the shadows or bitter murmur. May we please have more? There are still plenty of useless perks.
No one left behind. This perk increases points for altruistic actions gained by 100% and you perform them 12% faster, when gates are opened. Idea for the perk is just awesome, but 12% is a joke. I was thinking about this quite long. Lets remove this perk and put its use into another never used perk - wake up which makes you open gates slightly faster and survivors can see you doing so. Another cool idea for a perk but 15% isn't much. If we combined them together and made this 15% apply to altruistic actions when gate is opened it would make sense to grab it. Could increase bonus to 20% really. It also fits Qeuntins lore a lot! To compensate we could reduce points gained in altruism to 50% at max level.
Predator. Scratchmarks are spawning together instead of spread. Not useful, in many cases it is hinderance. Addition: reveal survivor aura for 1/2/3 seconds after perfoming loud action. Loud action as failing skillcheck, fast vault, fast locker. You get the idea - predators have high awareness :D. It would propably have the same range as killer notifications (with exceptions of hexes, unhooks and gen finish, notifications are not global).
Unrelenting (30% cooldown reduction on missed attacks) has no use now but i propose adding new mechanic to it. 30% reduced cooldown on missed attacks and lunge increased by the same ammount. 30% is not really this big increase but i think perk would be actually helpful on loops. If its too big lunge it can be half the bonus of cooldown reduction ammount. It would be very unique perk. Or just double the current bonus, new killers would benefit from it.
Monstrous shrine serves no purpose now. Chances of escaping are just slightly below 4% with it, penalty for trying is theoretically there but you still have 3 tries even on max rank. 9% Entity progression speed is not worth it.
I see 2 possible fixes here:
1. Increase the penalty so at tier 3 survivor have only 2 attempts and apply this to every hook.
2. I like the idea of making basement hooks special so here is how i see this perk beeing slightly usefull:
Tier 1: Entity progression speed increased by 10%
Tier 2: Reduces chances of self unhooking by 30%-90% (the more survivor waits the smaller the chance)
Tier 3: Failed rescue attempt put survivor in next sacrifice stage
Survivors will see icon if Monstrous Shrine is there. This achieves the initial goal of this perk, basement beeing scary. Without any luck rescue attempt has arround 2% chance, deliverance has 76-14% chance, 1 attempt. This would be interesting concept and small counter to deliverance, user has a choice, waiting or attempting 50/50 rescue (by the time killer leaves and survivor doesnt hear terror radius it should be arround 50% still, i think) . I still don't think it will really be worth a perk slot, but at least it would do something. As survivor you don't want to try to kobe almost ever anyway.
Beast of prey. Remove red stain for duration of bloodlust and gain some more hunting points. It is way better than it was, but why use perk for it when you can hide stain by just looking away? If devs want bloodlust perk how about doing this. Remove points aspect and in its place make it that killer requires 10/15/20% less time to gain bloodlust and the same ammount more to loose it. It sounds strong but if you are bloodlusting and its not last guy you are basically wasting time. Especially after bloodlust nerf. But at least the perk would have use.
Play with your food. This perk gives 5% per token up to 15% ms. To get token you need to loose chase with obsession. Offensive actions like attacking consume token. This has some use on chainsaw killers... but just using addon for it is better. Exception beeing tombstone Myers, on anyone else it is waste of a perk. And only because of stupid design (killing survivor with tombstone doesn't remove tokens) that makes little sense. I propose quality of life update similiar to Save the best for last design. Each token is worth 1,3% ms. For loosing obsession you get 3 tokens up to 9. For each offensive action you loose 3/2/1 token. Tombstone will count as such action. This way max bonus is smaller (12%) but you get small portions of ms for longer. And Myers doesnt bypass it now. Everyone can get at least some value from it.
What do you guys think?
Edit: Slippery meat, yes it has some uses but i think its just common sense that it should help with jigsaw boxes. It increases odds of self untrapping by 25%, could make skillchecks on boxes appear on lower chance or just increase searching speed by the ammount.

Love the BEAST OF PREY, UNRELENTING and PREDATOR idea
for PREDATOR, would that affect survivors mapwide?
I disagree with REMOVING a perk altogether; NO ONE LEFT BEHIND is not a great perk, I agree, but they should just up the percent speed AND, if there were feeling spicy, could add on a similar concept to WE'RE GUNNA LIVE FOREVER: unhook or take a hit for a survivor gets you a token...yada yada yada
I would comment on your PLAY WITH YOUR FOOD idea, but I have my own take on PWYF.

@LiquidLink1988 Predator idea would propably work somewhat arround 40m i guess, will update post.
Please share your Pwyf idea, as it is now it makes no sense in my opinion.

I have an idea for a PWYF rework:
Each time you lose your Obsession in a chase, gain 2 tokens, up to a maximum of 6 tokens
Each token grants a 3% speed increase
Each SUCCESSFUL hit on a survivor loses 2/1/1 token
Each SUCCESSFUL hit on the Obsession loses 3/3/2 tokes
(note: I would not oppose the idea of 2.5% instead)

@LiquidLink1988 We have similiar take on it, smaller buffs but lasting longer basically.
Edit: No wait, your is puree buff, but penalizes targeting obsession. Good combination with stbfl. Interesting idea, i like it. But I think in nature of this perk should be promoting playing with obsession rather than everyone else. Still would like to see it live.
