Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

Good job Behaviour. You listened to us and got rid of the god awful matchmaking changes. Can't thank you enough for that.

Now you need to lower pipping thresholds. Not even by a lot. Make it so it's not as hard to get a one pip and make safety pipping easier.

The pipping thresholds are way too high, especially at the higher ranks (Purple and Red).

I get the fact that ranking up was way too easy before hand, but now it's literally at a point where you can do almost everything and not pip.

I had a 25k+ BP game as survivor, unhooks, gens, 4-5 minute chases which I won all of them except 1, hooked once throughout the entire game. I safety pipped that game.

The problem is -

Survivors will complain that they were tunnelled or camped as it basically means they're guaranteed to lose a pip

Killers will complain because if they aren't good enough, they'll also lose a pip. Even if they're good enough, they still can't guarantee a pip unless they get a 4k at a reasonably quick time.

Until they lower the pipping thresholds (Not even by much), then I really don't care about my ranks. I would quite happily leave games if I'm getting tunnelled/camped as a survivor and if survivors run me around forever as a killer.

Yup, reduce the single pip threshold by one and put black pips back to where they used to be and you've got a pretty good ranking system.

It will still have jack ######### to do with player skill, but at least the only people in red ranks will be the ones that actually contribute to teamwork.
