Dead by Daylight should no longer be affected by an outage. Players logging into the game between September 26 3PM ET and September 28th 3PM ET will receive 1M Bloodpoints as compensation.

SUGGESTION: Activate lever before you can start working with the generator.

I thought I put my idea here to get some feedback..

SUGGESTION

Every generator has a lever, which you have to activate before you can start repairing it.

Levers would be located right next to the gen.

  • on a wall next to the gen.

  • on a separate level pole (like a street sign) for gens like cornfield ones.

Lever time could be same as the exit gate lever OR longer/shorter.

The mechanic would allow new perks with it. (Also Wake up perk would have more use). Below the perks suggestions are just something that came up in my mind to get the discussion going.

  • Every time you hook a survivor generator levers deactivate.

  • Every time lever is activated you (killer) get a notification.

WHY LEVER?

Mechanic (exit gate lever) is already there.

It would give just that little extra time for the killer to find survivors/set up traps etc.

The killer would also be able to track, where the survivors are at the start of the trial by checking if the levers are been touched.

WOULD IT STALL THE GAME ENOUGH?

I do not know :)

It is just an idea to drop in here.
