Change to make Dark Devotion an attractive perk choice
I feel like the supposed benefit to dark devotion is to disorient the survivors while also simultaneously getting to mask your own heartbeat and sneak up on people myers style, which would be awesome! I love this and thing that this original intent should be preserved. However, I believe the current iteration of the perk is incredibly difficult to facilitate in any consistent fashion. It's hard enough to organically get the obsession killed for Dying Light to be relevant, let alone be competitive. It is far too difficult to find the obsession in any prompt fashion for the way DD works to be useful but we can change it to be more consistent and harass the obsession without forcing us to actually hit them.
Therefore, I propose the new Dark Devotion work like this:
The display of your Powers creates a whirlwind of panic that spreads throughout the land.
You become obsessed with one Survivor. Hitting any non-obsession with your basic attack causes the Obsession to emit a Terror Radius of 32 metres for 20 seconds. During that time, your Terror Radius is reduced to 0 metres. This effect can only be triggered once every 60/45/30 seconds. The Obsession hears the Terror Radius they emit for the duration.
The Killer can only be obsessed with one Survivor at a time.
"And terror shall take hold of a defiant non-believer, who shall falsely announce my arrival." (The Tablet of Adiris, 48.9)
This would set it to a more 'Save the Best for Last' type of perk that rewards fighting in general while altering the gameplay around the existence of an obsession while not causing you to tunnel them to achieve an effect. To be honest I might also suggest increasing the duration to 45 seconds or so to allow us to achieve a result with this new stealthy approach and successful disorientation.
I apologize for being so wordy and appreciate your reading this!
TL;DR Make Dark Devotion transfer your TR when hitting any non-obsession survivor instead so it's consistent.

I think this would fly it it didn’t reduce the killer’s terror radius by such a significant amount.

Instant bomb.

I like the idea except for the increased time. Ghost soot wraith is already hard enough to keep track of for 6 seconds. 😐️
