Remove franklin's in exit gates
Comments

Don't t-bag at exit gates and just leave if you wanna keep your item, or just don't bring one, they are keeping Franklin's as it is, there is nothing wrong with it.

@Shad03 @Sairek I do use it to it's utmost by hate running it since it takes no real skill to use. Once you know the maps well enough you'll know pretty much where someones at with very little work.
I don't run Spine Chill because it's actually very easy to mind game once you figure out people are running it and 30 sec cd means you can pan back and forth and freak people out.
It also doesn't affect tier I Myers and it also can't tell you which direction the killer is actually going.

your best bet is to start quickswitching to minimize the chance of the killer bringing franklins

Because they need to teabag in peace and quiet god dammit lol
Nah I use Franklins have my own collection of Franklins hate messages too boot
I always run it regardless because as a person that plays both sides equally those chests hold great items.
Please do not change this perk! Only change I think it should grant a small blood point bonus like braking pallets does but apart from that.. No! your items belong to me now 🐷 bwaahhaa haa

No. There are no safe-zones in the trial, and there shouldn't be. If you want to keep your items, leave as soon as the gates are opened. Otherwise it is a risk you take when bringing them into the trial.

"I don't run Spine Chill because it's actually very easy to mind game once you figure out people are running it and 30 sec cd means you can pan back and forth and freak people out."
Spine Chill has a cooldown? When was that added in? Wait, ouch, my head.
Given you said that, it makes me believe you are confusing SPINE CHILL with the perk PREMONITION. While both are somewhat similar, SPINE CHILL does this:
Premonition does this (effects are generally the same):
"It also doesn't affect tier I Myers and it also can't tell you which direction the killer is actually going."
I tested it, or at least I think I did, Spine Chill trumps Myer's tier one. I'm going to test it again and let you know.

Been up way too long and did mix those up but as far as I'm aware Myers in tier I is immune to everything despite both perks saying otherwise. I believe one of the mods confirmed he's imune a ways back.
I do enjoy mind gaming spine Chill users though since if you know they're on a gen you can look at it and pan back and froth and never move towards them. It's also sneaky to go towards that gen but look away from it so it doesn't proc.

@powerbats Well, I'll test again.
Anyways, good to have this civil conversation with you. There is nothing more to be said on this matter.

Don’t teabag at the exit. The perk is still working as intended if you get chased to the exit.
4 -
What, Franklin's Demise is effecting the bloated item economy of Survivors like it's intended to do?
Good.

Match isn't over until you pass the exit so item loss is still fair game.

You’re being ridiculous. You want a perk to be disabled in the escape phase so you can sit there and T-bag scotch free?
No, absolutely not. You aren’t entitled to anything. You lose your sacred map at the exit gates? Tough, that’s dead by daylight. You don’t need items as a survivor anyways and you can always get more. And don’t forget the killer is already feeling the sting of you escaping.
You want it that bad? Fine. In exchange, however, item usage and healing should be disabled while in the exit gates. :)

No, I want your items. You wanna chill by the exit gates. Most likely probably waiting to teabag on the way out, rightfully deserved.

If at least you spent just a little time to inform about how I play lookng in the answers I made before, you'd know why you have no idea on what are you talkng about
1 -
I know exactly what I am talking about. I’ve got 500+ hours on this game and I can tell you that you’re being ridiculous. And you are, you got salty over losing something in the exit gate and request an entire one sided nerf with no compromises over an item that you will lose eventually anyways.
You’re overreacting. Don’t you dare tell me I don’t know what I’m talking about, because clearly no one here agrees with you and there’s a great reason for that. There’s no defending this argument of yours because it’s a biased one sided nerf to fit YOUR ideal of what’s fun without considering everyone else.

Or... you could adapt to the situation and adjust your gameplay in a way that allows you to keep your item. Mindblowing, eh?

I mean on my answers, not on what you know.

Thanks for the feedback but we think this perk is balanced and works as intended, we have no plans on modifying Franklin's Demise at the moment.

Thread finished. I can't do anything with a dev word

A horribly failed thread. Franklin's Demise is balanced perfectly.
Stop crying.

Let me know how it works out since last time I ran it it didn't but that was months ago.

This made me laugh, I just, wow.
