No Mither - A New Idea
No Mither isn't really that useful, is it?
This is the perk as of now, excerpt from the wiki;
- Go on kid, it's just a scratch. You start the trial injured and won't let anyone heal you beyond this state. Your thick blood coagulates practically instantly. You cannot be healed to healthy. You don't leave pools of blood. Grunts of pain caused by injuries are reduced by 0/25/50 % at any time. Grants the ability to fully recover from the dying state.
That's it. There's a lot wrong with it as well;
1. You make grunts of pain while you're in a permanent injured state that you can't recover from. No Mither basically has half the effect of Iron Will T3, and it can be outplayed by an alert Killer or one with Stridor.
2. Recovering from the dying state isn't a thing that happens so often. When the Killer knows you have No Mither, they aren't going to leave you on the ground to just get up and recover.
3. There is no upside to it. The devs themselves said it was a 'hard mode' perk, to make the game more difficult. But what is the point in making a 'hard mode' of something if you don't have rewards for it? This perk doesn't reward risky play.
3.1. Even David's own description says that he has perks that reward high-risk gameplay. No Mither doesn't do that. It doesn't reward you.
I'm aware that the devs are looking at No Mither and changing a lot of other perks, but I have an idea for a 'New Mither';
You're headstrong and think you can take on the world. You have no idea what's coming to you.
You suffer from the Exposed status effect for the duration of the Trial. Gain 50%/75%/100% bonus bloodpoints awarded post-Trial, if you successfully escape.
When hit and healed, you lose Exposed and cannot recover to Healthy State. You leave no blood trails and make no groans of pain. Gain a 3%/4%/5% Haste status effect for 60/90/120 seconds whenever healed from dying state and ignore damage for 5/7/10 seconds or until hit. Grants the ability to fully recover from dying state.
This would give rewards for high-risk play, as David King and his perks are meant to do;
- Bonus bloodpoints are a great incentive to take in an extremely risky perk.
- No blood trails and no groans, would essentially give it the effect of Iron Will as well. Of course there's not really any reason to still complain about pain if you 'couldn't be mithered', right?
- The Haste status effect requires you to risk getting your ass hooked. It'll also give you some distance from the Killer so you don't get hit again for a while.
- Taking no damage after a recovery would basically make it into a Dead Hard, so that you won't get instantly slugged again the moment you get up, otherwise the speed increase would be useless and the perk would be countered far too easily.
- This change to the perk where you can't recover back to Healthy after being downed, forces you to make contact with the Killer to trigger any injury-dependent perks if any.
Any ideas and feedback on this idea? I'm open to suggestions. I think my current proposed idea for "New Mither" is sound and solid, but I'd like to hear from the community.

Bloodpoints idea is fine if you can escape..
No haste though, that would be very irritating for killers, and ignoring damage would be silly too.
Just have the bloodpoints thing and improve noise reduction when moaning.

Always keep injured status. That’s the core of the perk, and I need my synergies. In my opinion, just buff it’s noise reduction, and throw some more perks into the cocktail. Maybe add faster recovery, recovery while moving, crawl 25% faster, I don’t know. Just something to make it burn less, and allow you to syngerize instead of wasting slots just to make injured less #########

Just something to make it burn less, and allow you to syngerize instead of wasting slots just to make injured less #########All No Mither needs is Iron Will built into it. Or tenacity. One of the two.
Here is the perfect NM Build and I'll tell you why:
No Mither, Tenacity, Dead Hard/Sprint Burst, Resilience.Because NM is powerful with just tenacity itself. It allows you to worm away and recover at the same time. I use this perk alot and I will tell you it's fine where it is, it's just not a perk meant to be ran alone.
I mean, have you guys seen No mither synergized with Resilience, Leader, and Prove Thyself? Gens get cut to nearly 30s when you work on it with someone else.... it's ridiculously fun. I've carried minute chases with No mither and escaped, and felt the reward. Picking myself up with No Mither too, the reward lol.
Now, remember this: If you synergize all of Davids perks the way he's supposed to be played, you realize he's there to take hits for people. If you even synergize it with Tenacity, then it makes body blocking the most rewarding thing. Not only do you recieve stacks if you're using WGLF, but you're able to pick yourself back up no problem. They can't pick you up if they have someone already. Remember that when using No Mither.
Yes, this perk is really crappy, but all it needs is T3 Iron Will or to be able to crawl and recover at the same time. Otherwise, this perk is meant to be synergized. I heard on the Q&A though that they will be revising it at some point. I'd really like to see one particular change: The killer isn't notified of No Mither right away.

Those pools of blood can be diabolical- especially if I’m the killer who runs Sloppy Butcher. And Resilience has always been a solid choice for me- even without NoMithed; So, it’s nice starting with the boost.0

This is meant to be a challenge perk, so I don't think it should be buffed at all. That said, it should have a BP reward for the challenge. Maybe a guaranteed 50% bonus BP?0
