Please fix the M1 and M2 dropped inputs when chasing a survivor and here's how.
So apparently a lot of people are having this problem, because I found a more than a few forums about players with the same issue. The problem has to do with Scaling and Layout, see attached file.
The screen I play on has a native resolution of 3840 x 2160 at 60hz. Any other resolution only offers 30hz and lower, which causes very low frame rate for skill checks, so I have to run my desktop at 3840 x 2160. This makes the size of text, apps, and other items very small and hard to see, this includes the DBD HUD, so I scale it up by 200%. Unfortunately, scaling for some reason, causes specifically Dead By Daylight to not register simple inputs, such as M1 and M2 about 20-40% of the time.
Behavior, the solution is quite simple. Add an ACTUAL resolution option in your graphics settings, such as 1920x1080, 2048x1440, 3840x2160 and these should also have Hz options as well.
Also please add a HUD scaling option, because running the game at 3840x2160 makes the skill check circle really small and hard to track where the needle is.
I hope this helps and stay safe in the fog.

Update: Now I'm even dropping in-game inputs (M1, M2, Space Bar, ect.) at 100% Scale with both Killer and Survivor.
Behavior, please let us know if you are working on this.

This was first time reported in 2017.
There is still no fix and no 4k support.
Problem is game runs in window and invisible mouse cursor is out of this window. hence your mouse click is not registered.
Have no Idea why you space bar did not work and 100% 4k should works every time.
Try 2k with 100% scaling...
If you expect BHVR will fix it I suggest you to move to another game.
