Decrease drop rate of Dull Key and Skeleton Key

Patch 2.5.0

After seeing the positive reaction to higher rarity items being looted from chests during the Winter Solstice, we've updated chest drop rates to support this after the event ends.

Let's stop this. At least, keys which can open hatch must not be easily dropped. They are items insulting the effort of killer-players in a game, and it seems to be done too frequently now.

If the reason is a "positive reaction", try giving killers free Mori for the next event. You will get the positive reaction after the event. And many negative reviews.

(I'm sorry, my English is not good.)

The amount of times I've gotten a purple or a pink key from chest is a one digit number. It's honestly not that common and I loot chests quite often.

Even with this increased chance, I've gotten maybe enough unbroken keys from chests to count on one hand since October 2017

There is an issue where running plunderer's causes keys to drop at lot more. I've watched Monto open 4-5 chests in a single game and pull skeleton key every time. I've also seen more keys than usual when I open chests.

I have gotten numerous Green Keys when I don't need them (And did not have Open handed)

I have only SEEN one survivor ever loot a red key without a perk before. And of course there is Monto.

Before this should even be entertained please remove Broken Keys from the game, they are absolutely worthless and annoying to get.

As for Pink and Purple keys, they are still very rare to get even with Plunderer on. I played this way for an entire week in response to the EGC changes, just to see if it was a viable playstyle in what is arguably a more difficult endgame for solo survivors.

I did manage to escape quite a few times through the hatch but it wasn't something common or easy to do. It was a lot of fun, though. It's like going through three lootboxes every game, except you're not paying money to buy lootboxes.

Granted I didn't play like a jerk and just hide in a locker after I found a key, but I only found a key in 1 out of maybe every 4 games. They are not that common even with the better drop rates and Plunderer. And I still didn't get to escape in every one of those 4 games, because you still need to survive and find the hatch. The killer still has the power to down you and kill you normally, because the key offers no other real benefits unless you take Ace in the Hole, and even then Bond is leagues better.

Curious, who is Monto? A popular streamer who specializes in Plunderer Build?

you know the key does more than open the hatch right?

the green key may not open the hatch but has 3 times the usage of the tracking add ons you put on it than the purple key does

They need to reduce the chance of ultra rares such as mori's and the skeleton key in blood webs they aren't rare I would call ultra's uncommon tbh get them almost everyone blood web.
