Introduction:

As we all know, the developers said they was going to rework her one way or another. Therefore, here I am suggesting what they should do if they want to keep her skillful interactions!

Please don't kill me for suggesting this!

Nurse Base Stats:
  • Movement speed increased to 110% (or 3.4m/s)
  • Terror radius is decreased to 24 meters, BUT is exponentially increased to 32 meters when she can use her blink.

Spencer's Last Breath:

Channelling its energy allows The Nurse to pierce and jump through the Spirit World in a Blink multiple times in a row. Doing so leaves her in a state of fatigue.

  • Start with 2 blinks.
  • Blink up to 20 metres on charge activation.
  • Chain Blinks have only half the maximum Blink distance.
  • Can perform either a Lethal Blink Attack or a Chain Blink after blinking.
  • If the "Chain Blink" opportunity expires or if you perform a Lethal Blink Attack, the Nurse will become fatigued for a short period afterwards.

After becoming fatigued, the Nurse will have a 10 second cool-down, and every Chain Blink adds 5 additional seconds to the cool-down. During the cool-down, you cannot initiate a blink until the cool-down expires.

Add-ons Revamp:
  • Decreases the cool-down time by 2 seconds.

  • Decreases the fatigue time by 0.25 seconds.

  • Adds 1 additional blink.
  • Increases the fatigue time by 0.25 seconds.

  • Slightly increases lunge duration for Lethal Blink Attacks.

  • Match Box is now an uncommon add-on.
  • Decreases the cool-down time by 4 seconds.

  • Bad Man Keepsake is now an uncommon add-on.
  • Decreases the fatigue time by 0.5 seconds.

  • Adds 2 additional Blinks.
  • Increases the fatigue time by 0.5 seconds.

  • Moderately increases lunge duration for Lethal Blink Attacks.

  • Dark Cincture is now a rare add-on.
  • Decreases the cool-down time by 6 seconds.

  • Catatonic Boy's Treasure is now a rare add-on.
  • Decreases the fatigue time by 0.75 seconds.

  • Adds 3 additional blinks.
  • Increases the fatigue time by 0.75 seconds.

  • Considerably increases lunge duration for Lethal Blink Attacks.

  • Fragile Wheeze is now a very rare add-on.
  • Considerably increases your movement speed (to 4.0m/s) during the Chain Blink opportunity.
  • Moderately increases lunge duration for Lethal Blink Attacks.

  • Ataxic Respiration is now a very rare add-on.
  • Attacking a survivor with a Lethal Blink Attack will reveal their aura to you for 7 seconds.

  • Anxious Gasp is now a very rare add-on.
  • Increases the blink's maximum distance to 28 meters.
  • Increases the cool-down time by 5 seconds.

  • Blinking through healthy survivors now deals a state worth of damage.

  • Kavanaugh's Last Breath is now an ultra rare add-on.
  • Performing a successful Lethal Blink Attack with your first blink will now inflect the dying status.

  • Jenner's Last Breath is now an ultra rare add-on.
  • The Nurse is no longer affected by fatigue.

Remaining Add-ons:

Campbell's Last Breath & "Bad Man's" Last Breath can be placed in the uncommon and rare rarity to achieve the developer's add-ons format.

I don't know what these add-ons should do, so this is where I ask the community: What should they do? Make sure you take into account of other add-ons that can stack with them or cancel their negative effects out. :)

Civilized feedback is appreciated! :)

The only problem with nurse are the range and extra blink add-ons, other than that she is fine.

Alright, I'll just clear some things up.

I know that you're probably frustrated beyond imagination for getting owned by a Nurse in this one match you probably had before posting this "rework"

Wrong, I didn't get owned by a Nurse before making this thread and in fact, rarely anyone plays Nurse in console sooooo idk why you would say that. Also, I understand that she deserves her kills due to her skill. However, the developers said she's going to get reworked one way or another, so therefore, I suggested this to the developers. Perhaps my version is wayyyy better than their version so if they decide to take my ideas (yes, they have my permission to) then I basically saved her.

Your "rework" would turn her into just anther gimmicky killer that's punished for using their power.

No, not in the slightest. You can still use her blinks to great effects, but the only difference is you have a cool-down time on them. Therefore, good Nurses would injure a survivor and then, blink to them to instantly down them. Worst case scenario: 2 blinks would set you back 20 seconds before you could blink again and down them. 20 seconds isn't that bad for a chase in my opinion, compared to other killer's.

Nurse is not an easy killer to pick up and most Nurse players get bullied constantly.. UNTIL IT CLICKS

You do know I main Nurse on console, right? Check my wall if you don't believe me, or ask @DarkWo1f997/ @Poweas since they know deadly my Nurse is. Furthermore, you didn't even read the add-ons because some of them are extremely good, any feedback on them?

I doubt they'd go your way. If anything, her add-ons needs a massive revisit.

Compared to the current Nurse, your rework is a pure downgrade. The Nurse is punished not only for failing her blink but then she suffers from a long period of nothing while being a 110% killer? Exciting.

you didn't even read the add-ons because some of them are extremely good, any feedback on them?

Most of them are pretty boring. I have nothing else to say.

@se05239 @NMCKE is a pretty terrifying Nurse tbh. I think I've faced him once and got curbstomped.

But as feedback to the actual thread, Nurse's cooldown should be 5 seconds instead of 15. No point in making her Spirit since Spirit has 5 seconds to track the survivor but Nurse only has about 2 or 3. With a 5 second cooldown, she could be balanced.

Also @NMCKE I think extra blinks should increase the cooldown by 0.7 seconds only.

However, the developers said she's going to get reworked one way or another

You cant be be wrong like that without proof, please link your claim because they said fairly recently that Nurse is completely fine and they have no plans to do anything to her.

You do know I main Nurse on console, right?

No offense but I don't really care for whatever changes anyone invested in console Nurse wants, that's not real Nurse. Unsurprisingly, your suggestion would make her way less fun to play, gets rid of the uniqueness of needing your power to catch people and makes her more of a bog standard killer.

But she would be better on console. Gets the noggin jogging is all I'm saying.

I wouldn’t mind this rework but the cooldown time is way too long because it’s still possible to juke blinks, and I feel that she may become too dependent on her add-ons. But overall for a first draft it’s pretty good, a few tweaks and tests and that may just be it chief.

The smaller terror radius would finally make nurses calling useful for her, and she would be able to move around the map without everybody knowing where she is based on her scream.

The only thing I think nurse needs is an addon rework. The additional blinks and range adds way too much for what they are. You can get an extra blink through a Brown addon.

    @PeepingPeacock

He said, "At this time" So they probably changed their mind a while ago.

    @se05239

Yes, it might be a downgrade, but she will still be a strong killer. Perhaps I went just a little overkill with the cool-down time, so I'll just decrease it to 10 seconds.

Also, you do know that I don't want this to happen? Right? I'm suggesting this just incase the developers decide to change her, but from what @PeepingPeacock said, they aren't so that's cool! :)

Imo Nurse only needs an add on rework. Like @Unnamed_Freak stated her extra blinks and distance add ons are a problem. Two blink nurse is fine and has counters, a nurse with three blinks is dumb f*ck easy to use because any mistake you make can just be solved by that extra blink. Extra distance add ons shorten the gap between chases faster and adds a crap ton of pressure on the survivors. Just give her an add on rework.

    WHAT?!

How does some people call it a good balance or that it will destroy nurse?

Did you read what this ######### is?! It would by so huge buff, that the nurse would be able to kill entity by herself...

    @se05239

So, if you had read my add-ons, then you would had seen some great combos such as:

    +

No fatigue and only a 4 to 9 second cool-down depending if you used your Chain Blink.

    +

    7 blink Nurse. Nuff said.

    +

Super lunge. Basically, if the survivor is remotely close to you, they will always suffer a hit.

    +

No fatigue with omegablink. Of course, you'll still have the cool-down but this is still very strong! :)

I am against this idea wholeheartedly. First off a killer like Nurse shouldn't be damaged by such a sluggish power change when her current system works very well. Every time she blinks after the first blink in a chain she gets 0.5s increase in fatigue time. It shouldn't go any higher than that and she doesn't need an arbitrary cooldown to her power when it is meant to be her only mobility. Making her 110% actually doesn't help her if even then her power is still the most effective for of movement.

I looked through your addons. Most of them don't bring any uniqueness to the game individually. Combination wise they are to me just worse than what she has and would still result in her getting a nerf later down the line. 7 blinks surpasses nurse when she could do 6 blinks years ago. That was a problem that led to the scaling back of her base kit. It is the reason she has base 2 blinks instead of the 3 she launched with. You're no fatigue omegablink isn't that strong considering you've now placed her on such a heavy cooldown that she can properly pressure the map. So should not get a down then you're giving up a hell of a lot. Super lunge is bad gameplay design as what you're describing is another base feature of the nurse they removed from her in the past. Nurse originally had a built in attack assist that made it so if she attacked out of blink the game corrected the aim for her and hit the target. She basically never missed. They removed it from the game after a short period.

You've scripted a rework that doesn't really improve her and gates her off even more while someone looping back to bad ideas of initial release nurse.

    @DarkWo1f997

I'm starting to think Nurse only needs her add-ons reworked tbh. I don't want her to be trash, but I do want her to be fair. I know my rework isn't perfect, so do you have any suggestions?

Also, when we played together, you keep saying it's a guessing game. You're true about that, but when you're in the middle of no where, it's a free down for me because there are no LoS blockers. Idk, I want Nurse to be loved by both sides, like Spirit.

Honestly I’m just thinking about doing live podcast like discussions and posting them on the forums since no one can be bothered to read. I think nurse is honestly fine where she is, the only thing that puts her in a weird spot is her addons.

Like current legion, nurse needs addons to be effective. And even then, only certain addons are actually good for her. One blink nurse is nothing but frustrating.

Her blink and overall kit is well designed, it’s the pressure she puts on survivors that makes it so salty for everyone. I literally have two minutes of me dodging nurses as a survivor,  recorded, and I’m not even a survivor main. I have been playing a lot of survivor with my friend lately and it’s starting to be fun for me because of how stupid easy it is lmao.

And as you remember, you’re a good nurse, one of the best on Xbox for sure, but even I was able to juke you by running into your blinks or faking running into them.

She’s rock, paper, scissors the killer but she spooks people so much with how quickly you need to react to her power that not a lot of people actually can keep calm and not be a deer in the headlights.

I don’t think there should be any changes made to fatigue. Maybe blink speed, or charge time, but those are the only things I see nurse needing changes in. If she can only blink once without blink addons, fatigue gets annoying. But people play nurse for that tremendous sense of speed and momentum.

I don’t think her movement speed should be touched and I definitely don’t like the idea of a 10 second blink cooldown after fatigue. That’s going down the legion route and we don’t want anyone to trample any of our precious psychopaths. Poor legion is in group therapy from being so traumatized by magically developing arthritis and being unable to move or vault quickly.

If a rework does end up going through, the only possible changes they can make to her without pissing everyone off like they did with legion is to change blink speed, charge time, or distance.

Another change they may commence is make survivors invisible during the blink teleport phase itself, not saying it’s a good one, but I’m gunna warn everyone because they don’t listen to feedback based around killer perspective anymore. The dark days have returned.

I don’t doubt nurse will be murdered by BHVR, they don’t care like they used to. I’ve just lost my faith in them until they show me they care.

This is a little off topic but I think more ambush/stealth killers need to be introduced, because they are the most well balanced in the game. Pig, while she was unjustly nerfed without compensation for said nerf, was balanced because her ambush ability required skill and setup. You can’t nerf something dynamic like that because the efficiency depends solely on the player’s behavior and skill. Which is where I think they’re currently aiming with ghost face.

Spirit isn't loved by both sides. She garners a ton of hate from survivors due to Prayer Beads and Mother Daughter Ring combo. Even without it that she's still considered part of the top level killers and gets a good bit of complaints about her. Though like nurse, Spirit is not being looked at as in need of changes.
