The meaning of the rank system is gone

I play on PS4, but there is too much difference in the ranks of the opponents I match.

Rank 15 killers only match survivors ranked 10 to 8, Rank 12 survivors match killers ranked 18 to 15.

I think it is a ranking system aiming to play against people with similar abilities, but this is meaningless.

Please do a proper improvement.

    Good idea... will you like to watch a 2 hour long movie while waiting for a game? Because on certain ranks there is already a problem with a long queue time.

    Ranks never were made with a proper indication of skill and now ranking in general is more luck than skill. Matchmaking and rank have never really been that meaningful as you can rank out of being able to find proper matches. Derank to which causes players to be in ranks beneath their ability. Finally, you can game the matchmaking system if you play in SWF groups and face literally anyone.

    Idk why they can’t just have it go by color red rank against red ranks, purple against purple, green against green, etc. And for swf just go with whoever the highest rank is, if you’re willing to play with high ranks you should be willing to play against them swf is already op enough without killers having to 1v4 people way above they’re skill level.
