Boil Over: A Rework
One of the most useless perks in game. Here is my Idea:
You are a battler and do everything to escape a foe's grasp. Your struggling effects on The Killer are increased by 25/50/75%. You obscure The Killer's ability to see hook auras within 20/24/28 meters. Time to struggle out of The Killer's grasp is decreased by 8/10/12%.

If you don't want to read the thread, the gist of it is -
People don't want more second chance perks.

Do you want to see more Bubba’s Basement with Insidious camping?
Because making it easier to wiggle out of the Killer’s grip is exactly how you get more Bubba’s Basement with Insidious camping.

I always thought of it as the mirror perk of Iron Grasp. So I added the faster wiggle out. You are right that this could cause more basement camping, but at least you would have a chance against it. Especially if it's Iron Grasp + Agitation.
Now once you are in the basement, you die in the basement 90% of cases against a basement build/insidious Bubba.
And are then Agitation & Iron Grasp 2nd Chance too? No.

No, Agitation and Iron Grasp are not ‘second chance’ perks. They are perks that help to ensure, but don’t necessarily guarantee, a hook. The only real ‘second chance’ perk currently on the Killer’s side is No One Escapes Death because it, somewhat, rewards failure.
And currently, Survivors have FIVE second chance perks, if not more. We don’t need additional perks to make it into the meta for Survivors. We don’t need this game to keep rewarding failure.

@Judgement Five? I only count 3. Unbreakable, MoM and Borrowed (and an Insta Heal :)) .
DH is like any other Exhaustion perk and has to be well timed, else it's a free hit for the killer. Adrenaline is more a reward for doing Gens and DS is an anti tunneling perk and therefore no 2nd Chance Perk anymore.

I feel like those percentages are a bit over what they should be, but it needs a bit of a buff to be anything useful.
Shhhh, don't talk reason, survivors only deserve weak, useless perks because we need free kills.

@adalesmo oh right. I shouldn't have said that. I should NOT have said that :)

Adrenaline may be the most downplayed perk by survivors. It is the only exhaustion perk in the game that can be used with other exhaustion perks. It gives a sprint burst and a health state no matter what condition you're in. That isn't to say it is unfair or broken, but lets not short sell the perk.

I don't really see why people are downvoting this, it's pretty rare to get to 88% of a current wiggle bar even with Boil Over and that's the only thing being added, wouldn't mind this change.

Honnestly i would like that the aura effect work in the first place.
Now for the wiggle bar, i would say no as you already have a perk to reduce the wiggle and survivors gamecore give you tool to affect already the wiggle without perks : bodyblock, sabo ...

I once heard someone suggest a rework idea for Boil Over which made the survivor Kick and Stun the Killer once they were put on a hook, which actually sounds pretty good.
I won't take the credit for the idea, but here's how it would sound:
You are a battler and do everything to escape a foe's grasp. Your struggling effects on The Killer are increased by 25/50/75%. You obscure The Killer's ability to see hook auras within 20/24/28 meters.
If you are hooked by The Killer, you deliver a forceful kick which Stuns the killer for 4/5/6 seconds
The reason for this idea is to waste a small bit of the killer's time, but mostly, to counter BBQ and Chili. It would also make insta-unhook saves less dangerous... especially for end-game plays.
Of course, this perk would not be Meta by any means, but would make it a bit more fun.
