Bloodweb - Rework Suggestion

Hello, everyone. First time I'm actually posting in the forums since I just created my account to leave this suggestion out there. I believe I've read in the past suggestions about how to rework the bloodweb, but seems like the topic has been put under the rug.

As everyone is aware, there have been a lot of new characters (both killers and survivors) added to the game since its launch. Each of them brought 3 additional perks to the game. Right now, the amount of RNG and grinding within the bloodwebs is so much that you lose interest in trying to spend those bloodpoints in order to finally get that perk you desire not once, but three times! This is not friendly to anyone that wants to try different builds and increase the variety of perk builds.

Actual suggestions:

  • Bloodweb: replace it by perk meters. That is, you spend bloodpoints on a perk that will fill its meter. There are three thresholds in the meter which will match the tier 1, 2 and 3 of the perk itself. This way, people can go straight to the perk they want and BHVR can still manage how much grind should be required for a perk.
  • Offerings + addons: since the bloodweb does not exist, allow players to select any addon and offering they want from existing list BUT they have a bloodpoints cost associated and the player must have enough to select the combination of addons and offering he selected. Way less RNG and allows for people to freely select what better fits their build. As before, the cost in terms of bloodpoints is still there and can be managed by BHVR.
  • Items found in the trial: by the end of the match, they are converted into bloodpoints (same as their cost). This will give extra incentive for survivors to open chests and attempt to survive to bring out more bloodpoints from it.
  • Character levelling: I'm not sure about this one. Two options seem good in my opinion: i) the total amount of bloodpoints invested in a character will correspond to a certain level; or ii) the total amount of experience gathered with that character will lead to level ups.
  • Prestige: I have no opinion regarding the perks reset on prestige, but prestiging a character should lead to a bloodpoints cost reduction in terms of add-ons/items/offerings at the very least (not sure whether it should also be applied in the meters of the perks). These costs reductions should be associated to the prestiging tier. For instance, prestige tier 1 would have a 2.5% bloodpoitns cost reduction, prestige tier 2 and 3 5% and 7.5%, respectively (values provided are illustrative only).

Even if this idea doesn't go through, hope some enlightment is given in the topic. In overall, this would also be more stream/youtuber friendly since players would be able to pick whatever fits best for the situation.
