The Plague Is Fun...But Garbage
Having played her today for awhile, I can say that she is gross, and fun...but her skill is basically useless.
Skilled players just accept the poison as it just removes a hit. No slowdown, no stuns, etc. Just 'Oh no, I go down in one hit. I'd better do WHAT I DO ALL THE TIME AND NOT GET HIT!' This means puking on generators to slow down Survivors is flat-out useless..since they are already poisoned, so they can work on one without worry.
If You hit a Survivor and they are sick (but not Broken yet), they can not ONLY clear the puke..THEY GET A FREE FREAKING HEAL when they do so. This was a very BAD idea that actively punishes The Plague for using her skill! It forces her to tunnel a Survivor and, 9 times out of 10, Tunneling is how a Killer LOSES FASTER.
Proposes to make The Plague at least decent:
1) There needs to be a punishment for interacting with Plagued objects while sick. Her skill actively NEUTERS ITSELF. Maybe a slowdown to interactions while the object is affected?
2) REMOVE THE DAMN FREE HEAL FROM THE POOLS OF DEVOTION! This was a stupid call. 'Hey! The killer used her ability! Go get a free heal! That's right, Sprint-Burst users! Decisive Strike Users, etc, etc. If you get away, you get to heal yourself without a medkit! Boy is The Plague stupid for puking on you!'
Seriously. That free healing is what broke her for me. I've never seen a Killer punished so badly for using their ability. Who the heck thought free, infinite heals was a good idea!?

I couldn't agree more, she needs a buff in Bloodpoints honestly, it is literally impossible to earn Bloodpoints as her unless you camp players or trap them in a spot which makes me earn either a 0 or -1 in rank everytime I play as her, it's terribly unbalanced there. Devs need to get rid of the full insta-heal when a player uses her shrine as it is insanely impossible to hit survivors with her maximum affection ability unless survivors run in a straight line or over pallets.

The only real changes she needs is to revert the nerfs they gave her post PTB. She was in a good solid spot, nobody was complaining and they went and added a slow down to her holding the puke and a slow down to releasing the puke. It completely destroyed her.

She needs the heal on Pools removed.
Imagine if Waking up from Freddy's Dream World healed the Survivor? Or removing The Pig's beartrap?Or snapping out of being insane from The Doctor? Or every time The Clown's tonic wore off, you healed?
Giving the Survivors a free heal because the Killer hit them with their ability is a freaking joke. It takes the teeth out of the attack.
Plus, her ability is useless if everyone accepts being Exposed. No killer's ability should be a useless joke if the Survivors accept being hit. How is it in any way scary or effective if the Survivors can ignore it?
The Plague is just a useless joke at the moment.

I agree with you, but a dev weighed in on another Plague thread and it seems they're smoking some really good stuff when it comes to Plague unfortunately. She may get buffed indirectly with map reworks reducing the insane amount of safe loops, but who knows how long that will take with the pace that things happen in this game. I 4k'd against a red rank Squadette yesterday on Haddonfield with Enduring/Spirit Fury/Ruin/Infectious Fright. It can be done, but you really have to be willing to slug one or two at a time with her because you are going to get gen rushed to hell once everyone is broken.

Christ. Wish I could get my money back on her DLC, then. Her premise seemed good but they, once again, completely botched execution. Can't have a too powerful Killer, after all.

A good game where I get to down people with Corrupt Purge is fun.
A game where I mostly act as an M1 killer and/or get looped to hell... not fun.
I love her design, and she ended up being the first killer I P3'd, but I've gotten frustrated with playing The Plague. I often stop wanting to play in the middle of a match, and even with Distressing equipped I have trouble getting Deviousness points with her.

Her biggest problem is skill level: Good survivors ignore the debuff and enjoy being broken against an M1 killer, while bad survivors ######### their pants and go heal only to make her stronger via corrupt purge.
Removing the heal wouldn't do any good, as it's only the bad survivors who use it, and getting the heal really doesn't change much when you're gonna face a better huntress/bubba at medium range.
My suggestion: add a time limit to being sick. Remove the broken, leave the injury at "full sickness." Add an additional timer (a black one) that when IT fills up, you drop to dying. This will promote a very skill based play on both sides
For killer: If you get someone sick and want to focus them down, keep vomiting on them till they drop. You'll probably lose due to Gen rush, but that's another story.
For Survivor: Timing of your healing is important. Giving the Killer a free Corrupt will make her stronger, so using it properly will keep her strength separated by gaps of weakness.
Other suggestion, specifically a 2nd part to the 1st if that's not enough: Fountains don't cure you, but cleanse you to a "just got sick" status, along with buff you with resistance to getting sick. This seems rather strong, especially against bad survivors who can't figure out how to turn their camera behind themselves, but good survivors will simply keep track of their timer.
This would also be more consistent in regards to standard "killer" strength: Snap Out Of It doesn't cure you of madness entirely, just the bad tier, and consistently affects you.
