How to end tunneling, camping, genrush and other toxicity in dbd.

First i use google translator , sorry for the english....

The idea is that in the game after making an action the entity suggests you do another in exchange for an extra in bloodpoints. For example, if you are a killer and after having hooked someone, the entity tells you that if in less than 60 seconds you hit another survivor, you will have a bloodpoint bonus for that task. Or if you are a survivor and after having made a generator, the entity can suggest that you clean a totem in less than 60 seconds for a few extra points, and so on. That the entity is suggesting mini tests for extra points in the game to make it more fun and not fall into the same toxicity as always.

This is actually not a bad way of thinking. Interesting idea. But people showed time and time again that a lot of time they don't care about points. Especially if they are tilted.

    It won't work.

Problem is that they've tried incentives and people were still toxic. Why? Core mechanics. If I'm feeling real powerless in a game, I'm going to do something that makes me feel powerful. It's within human nature. The game gives me the chance to tunnel, so I can tunnel that one guy into the ground because of some perceived slight. People play with their heart.

But the idea of mini-quests could be a good secondary objective, though they should add more things to do around the map for this.

    This wouldn't change a thing.

People that want to be "toxic" will still be toxic

Even if the concept is not bad, i have to remind you that people see differently a win : bp, number of kill, fun ...

Your solution could interest people who search bp, but as it didn't apply on emblem system it won't be interesting. Also as Milo say before :

To solve all of them i see only two way :

    1) Act on the causes of each problems and try to solve them as you follow one rule : since punnish people for doing something bad let's first reward them for doing something good. This would imply : gamecore change (but that is not intended by devs based on the devs stream), map rework (two should come at least but i wouldn't bet on that), survivors perk rework, items / addons rework, killer power and perks.

2)Change the gamecore in order to make the entity a part of the game and make it the time control of the game. The idea is simple (but how to make it ...) : if the killer has too much advantage over survivors , the entity will either gives tools to survivors to help them (and give them fake hope) or slow down the killer. The same goes for survivors too.

Cool idea, but there's no way you can end it. Just not possible. They may do a couple of these if they give a good amount of bps, then go right back to their shenanigans after.

Really, just get used to being camped or tunneled in some of your games. Killers care mostly about kills, not points, not a pat on the back from the devs, but kills.

And reverse: genrush is just survivors doing their objective. Can't blame them for that.

People don't care about points when they are mad, if a survivor runs you for 3-5 gens you deserve to lose for not giving up on that chase some people just commit to a chase for too long but nevertheless you will still attempt to tunnel the survivor for being able to make you chase them for that period of time.

90% of killers are campers and tunnelers. The other 9% are sluggers. You can't do anything to avoid it. They think they had lose if they don't make 4k.

Only thing that can change this is play 50% surv and 50% killer.

Source for the stats? Because MoM's rework had to stop counting safe unhooks due to how easy it was to get them, meaning that the majority of killers do not, in fact, camp.

@prayer_survivor we don't "think" we lose if we don't get a 4K. We DO lose if we don't get a 4K.

Ever had a cockroach infestation in your home or workplace? Would you be satisfied if, after you paid them, the pest control service told you "hey it's ok, we exterminated 75% of them"?
