Does Anyone Else Have A Strong Hatred For The Spirit?
For some reason I hate the spirt, I’m s sorry if you like spirit but I can’t can’t stand her , I hate he design, and going against her

I liked playing her before the sound bugs.
I don't like versing her tho, and her sounds from survivors perspective are a bit annoying.

How many hours do you have on the game? She's very mind game based an is not fun at all for newer players. I play her and like both playing with and against her, though i will admit it's not fun to face some of her best addons. Prayer beads are strong but i like the jump scares lol, so i'm not including them

I just can't stand the blatant fan service rubbish that her default outfit is.
"Oh she died coming home from work so she's naked."
Also not a fan of the smokey hair effect in the slightest, the watery ones are way higher quality. Default always looks like an upside-down mop.

I liked when it was easier to tell when she was fazing, since a lot of the time I lag against her. Never played her, I find the sounds too annoying. Well, that and I would get a bit of motion sickness just by watching others play her. She doesn't give me the same kind of thrill like being chased by the nurse does, more like a nuisance.

That's my favourite killer. She is cute and viable at high ranks. The only good PAID DLC that they've made. I wish we could get more killers like her.

I love playing spirit. Hate going against her. Theirs like no way to know where she is apart from footsteps. Which would be fine if the chase music was not so high. She's probably my 4th least favourite killer to go against. 3rd is Myers. 2nd is hag. 1st is trapper i hate that guy.

I don't like nor do I dislike her. I have a cousin who can wipe the floor with the survivors using her though.
Her design is pretty cool and the way the floating parts move is amazing. She's just not the killer for me.

@Pike_Trickfoot I wouldn't say the Spirit is fanservice, cause if you think that, then that means you are [Lovely Word] a corpse. Whether you want to or not. When I face the Spirit I think, "Time for jumpscares." Not, "Y mah pp hard?"

@Shado3 It's more like I watch too much anime, which can be pretty ######### up even when it's trying not to be. I'm actually thinking about how unscary she is as a school girl, nothing sexual about it yet the anime corruption is strong.

I love Rin... playing her I feel powerful and going against her I feel unsafe and scared which is how I'm supposed to feel.... the devs did spirit the right way an A++++++..

I ######### love the way she looks and her overall concept.
But... her power is so... weird.
When there's a good Spirit player, and you happen to NOT have Iron Will in your set up, you're dead and there's nothing you can do. That's what I find stupid about her power.
Some Spirits aren't that good, but when they know how to work with injured sounds and stuff, she's unstoppable.
That's how I feel anyway.

There's nothing wrong with Spirit in my opinion, good killer, design and power. The only bad thing is her duck voice

I really like Spirit, she rewards your ability to predict survivors. Furthermore, when you hear that vacuum of death, it's the scariest thing ever because you don't know if she's coming to you! Overall, she's a well rounded killer tbh! :)

I just hate how broken sounds are when playing as her...lost a lot of the fun when I couldn't track/mindgame Survivors because I can't hear them at all over their muted sounds and the loud chase music

I don't hate her. She is a challenge to face without being OP. The kind of killer the game needs.

Only reason why I don't like going against the spirit is that she does all the mindgames for you. When you come to a loop it's pretty much all in the hands of the spirit in terms of whats gonna happen.

@PolarBear tbh though, all killers should have that level of control. It IS a 4v1 after all.

@PolarBear but against Spirit, you have some power. You can try to trick her. Obviously, it all comes down to predicting her. you could also run Iron will and Spine chill to completely no skill destroy her.

I don't hate Spirit. She can scare like Myers. But I don't like her design. She is ugly (imo).

@PolarBear it's not a challenge with spine chill, you can tell when she's on you. With iron will, if you vault into her and run the opposite direction, she'll never know what hit her. And with spine chill you can guarantee when you should fake vault back.

I got Gen-grabbed fairly early on when i started playing this game by the spirit...scared the living ######### out of me. Now, every time i see that it's a spirit, with her phasing and such...INSTANT PTSD, lol.

I like her design and power, but sometimes she's frustrating to go against, not always tho.
The only thing i hate is that they butchered her by making her sound like waluigi, it just doesn't fit her at all.

You do realise that it's not fanservice? It clearly states in her lore that Rin worked in a traditional Japanese restaurant where the waitresses would have been geishas, and in Japan it has always been seen as more attractive to have a thin, slender figure. Because of this, geishas would wear sarashi in order to bind their body into a more slender figure. Just because something happens to be revealing on a female character doesn't mean that its purpose is to be sexual, the devs have clearly always put an aspect of realism into each and every one of their characters and just because one of these aspects can be seen as fanservice doesn't mean it is. What about hag? Her breasts are completely exposed but you don't care about that?
