Reward idea for reaching Rank 1 each season.
Would it be a good idea to perhaps set it up so that as long as you are rank 1 you get a bloodpoint bonus? I like the idea of say a 50% bonus to bloodpoints so long as you maintain Rank 1. If you are Rank 1 survivor you will get 50% more points when you play survivor, if you are rank 1 killer you get 50% more points when you play killer. Also ending a season while Rank 1 will grant you the privilege of wearing a special cosmetic for the following season and if you fail to reach rank 1 on that season you will lose that special cosmetic.
Edit: Also i would like to point out that if you reach rank 1 and then derank back to rank 2 you lose the bloodpoint bonus until you get yourself back to Rank 1.

Do you want to make casual players to feel bad about themselves ? Because that's what is gonna happen, and devs don't want to displease people who suck at the game. They actually designed most of the game toward them.

The devs need to rethink there stance on this. The hurt feelings of casuals because they cant reach rank 1 dont matter.

Oh, yeah. They should remake this game competitive. But as I got answered by devs themselves on that matter :
"The rank system and the game itself would be way different if I was the one taking the decisions, but the decisions are way above my paycheck."No wonder why I renamed my game "Dead By Marketing"

This game might actually be in a good place if we actually had someone like not queen making decisions on what needs to be worked on because she knows how bullshit this game can be since she loves to play killer and being our community manager she sees on a daily basis our wants for this game and what is a hot topic that needs to be addressed.

I also feel that adding in rewards like this could potentially alleviate some frustrations with the game by changing peoples personal win conditions from being kills/escapes to pips. If ranking was rewarded people would begin to derive satisfaction from ranking up vs how many kills and escapes they can actually obtain. Perhaps getting a pip could also come with a reward aswell. Black pip is no reward since your reward is not deranking. Single pip is a 50% bonus to bloodpoints for that match and double pip is 100% bonus to bloodpoints for that match. So for example if you reach rank 1 you could possibly be rewarded with double bloodpoints for pipping at rank 1 and 150% extra bloodpoints for double pipping. Reach the high ranks and playing well is thus rewarded.

They could do something similar to hearthstone. Give out iridescent shards based on rank. Everyone gains them based on how hard they worked to achieve the rank they got.I would recommend implementing a casual and ranked play modes so people aren't afraid to play if it damage their rank. Also slight sidetrack is it possible to get rank one with Myers.

1) Camping would seem way more personally, and the person would be losing more if caught fast. 2) It’ll just make every survivor on PS4 hate their life, because whenever exits are powered, killer closes app, which causes everything brought IN, and obtained DURING the match to be lost. Once they start adding in rewards to rank we will see an increase of toxic competitive people rage quitting to save rank. I think rank should simply be removed from this game as it does nothing but make people feel they are losing something and breeds this toxic behavior.

I want them to release the leaderboards they devs talked about and custom cosmetic and other rewards for reaching rank 1. I think each killer and survivor rank should be different. For example, if you reach rank 1 with the doctor you get a overlord style doctor outfit with a long menacing cape that moves with your movements. Or if you get rank 1 with feng, you unlock the elusive bunny outfit we have been awaiting for.

As a result, also make DC cause a 5 pip lose in rank. Otherwise people ESPECIALLY on PS4, will DC to save pips, and screw over others
