PERK VAULT - New Offering

Playing the Perk Vault offering will effect ALL players both killer and survivor.
For that match, all perks are placed inside the Perk Vault and are unable to be used again until the match is over.

Yes, this is a perkless mode offering. It will definetly bring some interesting game play.
Available on bloodwebs for both killer and survivor.

I would love to see a no perk mode, but as we are all well aware, if the Devs brought out an actual no perks option in the menu, nobody would click on it.

My offering suggestion (wish list) would be the same sort of thing but no extra coding required. It would just be for that 1 match and would make the game balanced in terms of killer end game perks and survivors being able to heal themselves, see eachother, rescue from the hook safely and more.

Carried items and equipped addons would not be effected, so these would still be in the game via chests or carried in from the camp fire.

Please post your thoughts and comments. Any ratings would be greatly appreciated.

Imagine playing Wraith or Freddy then having ALL of your perks removed against competent survivors... You'd have ZERO chance and probably the worst game of your life.

But the survivors would also be at a disadvantage. In a sense, it would be a balanced match?

Also to add, I did mention that add ons would not be effected.

You could play as wraith/freddy with ultra or rare add ons.
The survivors wouldn't be able to sprint burst, self care, lithe, borrow time, d strike... etc!

All they would have is chest searches and natural generator speed and that.

Marth and his de-pip squad send their regards.

Disconnecting is against the Dead by Daylight rules, if you do this too often you may get a ban. So I wouldn't do that if I were you. Or just be careful.
I'm sure Marth would take up the challenge having (and knowing the others also have) no perks.

I've watched Marth stream, hes very good at killer. I am sure that he would use this offering to his advantage.

    • Equip the best add ons, Use this offering. Easy :)

Where'd I mention disconnecting? De-pip squad was a perkless SWF that went against completely loaded out killers, and whopped ass

I thought you meant De-pip squad as in a team of disconnectors to de-pip. My bad.

So because the mode you want isn't popular enough for anybody to want to play by choice, you want to make it so that any of the five players can unilaterally decide to remove perks and force a drastic change to my gameplay style, either because they think perkless is more advantageous to them, or simply to troll?

    No thanks.

It is a suggestion because it would be a challenge.

A challenge that anyone can force on other people.

What if I want to try out a new build, see how perks work together? Or, for a killer, perks and add-ons (like, for example, Myers infinite tombstone build where you need one of the speed burst add-ons like Play with Your Food to be reasonably effective). Then, boom, somebody plays this offering. Well, that's a waste of my time and possibly my add-ons as well. Maybe I get several games like that in a row. Maybe I grinded for 70 bloodwebs just to get the perks I want, and now I can't even play them every other match just because some rando decides "let's give everyone else a challenge." Maybe I see a flashlight squad of SWF so I bring in Franklin's or Overwhelming Presence, only, oops, one of them plays this as part of their plan (4 survivors means 4x the odds a team of 4 has at least one to use) so now everybody's blasting me with super-flashlights and I can't do a thing about it.

No, if you want a challenge, YOU play perkless. Nobody's stopping you. Don't force me to. In fact, that would be even MORE of a challenge, since you're playing perkless and everyone else got perks. If challenge is a good thing, then this should be even better, right?

Rated up, thank you for the comment and you are correct. It would be too one-sided in the great scheme of things.
