Clarify/fix Sprint Burst?

I'm sure many of you have seen, more than often, when a killer goes to swing at a survivor only to hit nothing but air as the survivor has Sprint Burst. I'm unsure if this strange invulnerability is either intended or not, but it would be very nice to have indication in the perk's text if it IS in fact an intended element, if not, is it just a bug that they ARE invulnerable? (If they're not invulnerable, how come it always seems like even though I managed to score a hit, the weapon magically slides off of the sruvivor?)
