New Killer Pitch


I love this game a lot, despite the growing magnitude of bugs. And since I am so invested in this great game, here's an idea for a new killer that I came up with while hiking in Switzerland:


The Horror Dolls

There are 4 (negotiable) horror dolls, spread out over the map (one could be chucky, one annabelle, one fats etc.).

3 of them start inactive, the killer randomly spawns as one of the dolls, active.

The killer can only control one doll at a time, the other lay still, with eyes closed.

His /their power: drop dead where you are and jump into any of the other dolls ("Possession")by looking in their direction and pressing / clicking (insert power button).

The active horror doll has the red stain and a clearly audible walking sound to not make looping too hard.

The anti-loop mechanic would be to strategically position the dolls in popular loops (e.g. shack) and being able to switch between dolls.

The possession / switch doll power will of course need a cooldown (probably 30-45s?).

The "dead" dolls could help with generator pressure and work as map control.

No other powers needed imo.

A doll suddenly opening its eyes and becoming active would create fantastic jump-scares.

ideas for perks:

  • "Do not touch my toys": Get a notification whenever a chest is touched. If an item is taken, the survivor is revealed to you for 2/5/7 seconds.

Ideas for add-ons:

  • Dolls will sometimes open their eyes and emit a terror radius for 3 seconds, while the active doll will lose its terror radius for the same duration.

    Honestly I just want Chucky. I've already said there'd have to be arm traps on the ground instead of hooks, since Chucky is too short. For powers I think Chucky's initial strike should latch him on a survivor's back requiring button spam and skill checks to get him off. If they succeed he falls and is stunned, if they don't he lands a second strike and they enter dying state.

    If anyone tries to open a chest within a certain range the killer gets a warning and if they respond, there is a 50% chance Chucky will pop out of the chest when opened.

    Also when Chucky attacks he jumps up, performing a longer jump when lunge is used. If timed right this allows quick vaulting of all but pallets.

    Chucky would also have to oddly be in 3rd person, just so he could see anything.
