How about a totem counter?
How about a totem counter that let us know how many totem still remain in the game?
The reason for this is that most players are solo players, so it is basically impossible to know how many totems your teammates have broken, if they have broken any at all.
And I don't think this will greatly affect the killers. Take NoED for example:
A good killer, that applyes good pressure and has good skills, is more likely to protect the totems so he will have some still up at the end of the game, and gets the perk activated when he actually deserves it cause he did a good job.
On the other hand, a bad killer is most likely to get all the totems broken, so he doesn't get easy kills when he actually don't deserve them cause he is doing a bad job.
And before anyone gets salty, keep in mind i play both killer and survivor, and i actually think this would be a feature that benefits both sides.
Maybe to make it a little more fair, killers can also see dull totems, in a different color, not just the hex totems.

Add it to the perk Small Game? Would be a suitable buff for that perk.

Ah, yeah in that case just add the same mechanic of counting totems from Thrill to small game like someone suggested.

You can use Rainbow map with the range addons and detective's hunch.

I don't think that the current count of the totems should be shown by the perks. The survivors should be able to see this informatiom by default becase SWF teams have it for free.

This, a totem counter thats free for all survivors is to bridge the gap between solo and SWF. By just adding the counter to small game the problem still exists.
