Add Resolution Options (Ultrawide/wider screens)

I'm playing on an ultrawide monitor of 49 inches, but it's really quite annoying to play the game on the native resolution of 5120x1440, it stretches it out horizontally and removes a lot of vertical space.

Having to set my native resolution to 1920x1440 or 2560x1080/1440 just to play DBD is pretty annoying and restructuring my other programs after turning back the resolution after playing this game just gets more annoying over time.

Why can't you just set resolutions to max out at the maximum resolution you feel is right for the game and get it to add black bars like any other modern game that has come out with these "features" in the game?

Why do I have to take extra steps just to play this game? The slider does nothing to scale the resolution, all it does is make the window smaller and doesn't adjust the resolution at all, it just stays at the native resolution and makes the window smaller. This doesn't really adress any of the resolution issues experienced.

This is how it looks in 5120x1440

It makes it very hard to track survivor movement, as you miss a lot of vertical space and they can thus move around out of your sight a lot easier.

This is how it looks in 2560x1440

Sure ultrawide monitor users might be a minority in the game, but that doesn't mean a modern game in 2019 should not have resolution options. I'm pretty sure that not giving more than 2560x1440 as a resolution option should be sufficient to remove any kind of FOV advantages that could be had with a wider screen.

I've just given up. Playing on non native resolution/windowed mode makes this game laggy and unpleasant. Seems like adding a few lines of script to add black bars for ultra wide resolutions is too much for this "game studio".

Can't wait for Capcom's Project Resistance, I can bet that there will be ultrawide support from day one.

Please add proper ultrawide monitor support!!

What we need is personal graphic options: resolution, prop/character details etc.
