Second Ultra Rare for Doctor
I heard the devs want to look at Doctor eventually, especially since he hasn't had an Add-on pass yet.
I'd like to share my idea for his second Ultra Rare. And even if the effect would be different once we got that Add-on pass, if not at least the idea for the name is implemented, I shall be severely disappointed.
IRIDESCENT QUEEN
A glass-like Queen chess piece moulded from The Fog itself, its sickly shimmering glow driving its victims deeper into an abyss of Madness.
Doctor Hallucinations have a Terror Radius of 24 metres and will walk towards the afflicted Survivor, performing a Shock Therapy attack, after which they will dissipate. Can be seen by The Doctor as an allied Aura.
In addition to that, I wouldn't mind seeing a return of the Hot Pink Aura we used to have for Doctor Hallucinations, would serve as a nice contrast to all the other Aura-reading colours.

Just thought that due to the nature of Shock Therapy attacks revealing Survivors, a downside could be that those Shocks either do not proc the Aura flare-up or Hallucinations spawn less frequently.

I’d like this. Good idea.

My own idea:
The Phantasmagoria Protocol:
An experimental treatment developed within the fog. A constant low-level stimuli leaves the patients unable to properly distinguish reality and fantasy. The Doctor deliberately blurs the lines between the two to keep the patient off balance.
- Shock Therapy Attack disabled.
- Static Field provides the equivalent of one shock therapy attack at each tier up (for stacking with Iridiscent King, and provides a little bump of extra progress)
- In Treatment mode, the Doctor can teleport to an active Doctor hallucination in his terror radius, replacing the hallucination. Add-ons that affect shock-range now increase teleportation range. A successful teleport kicks him out of Treatment mode.

Remember when upon his release we thought we would get moving basekit illusions sometime in the future?
I dont see a reason for that addon to have a downside(less illusions or no notifications) as survivors could easily interrupt the illusion's shock by just dissipating the illusion by touching it. Wouldnt the whole intention of that addon be to spread madness in a wider area with static field/TR so that those screams happen?
Your idea would turn the doc into a simplified hag, as you dont need to set up traps but can just teleport to survivors.not saying its a bad idea, but its turning him too similiar to another exisiting killer. Although i like the instant swap to punishment mode so he could instantly attack.

that sounds like a cool idea, yet i think it would be very hard to add tbh.
ive had an idea for ultra rare add ons for killers who dont have any yet (link to the original post down below), and here is what i thought could work for doc:
The Doctor
-Dr. Otto Stamper's File
your static field becomes map wide, steadily increasing the survivors madness. also your shock therapy range gets increased by 50%. slightly increases the time it takes to charge your shock therapy.

I think that would work better as an effect for the Order series of add-ons (the illusionary pallets would be part of his base kit instead). The common add-on could have the illusion charge up the shock therapy, the uncommon add-on could have them run toward the Survivor and pretend to swing, and the very rare add-on could have them perform a random action.
I really like Mister_xD's idea for the second Ultra Rare add-on.

Map-wide? Survivors would go berserk on that Add-on.

maybe.
i think the add on synchronises very well with his power though, since survivors would not be able to lower their madness bar anymore, while also allowing the doctor to get better effects on his symptoms, since they would tier up automatically over time.
the big thing is, that the aspect of "the closer you are, the faster your madness goes up" would still remain, so that would also work in the other direction. if you are far away from the doc, your madness would increase very slowly, so you wont scream all the time and you were not forced to constantly snap out of it, unless the doc comes close. this might also give lockers a more frequent use in doctor games, especially if you do not want to be the first one to hit madness tier 1 or you want to stall screaming for a bit.
this would basically be a ultra rare version of the calm add on series, combined with an electrode (the yellow electrode with the charge time of the brown one i believe). it would allow the doctor to clear one of his perk slots (distressing) and therefore mix his build up a little bit. you would also be able to get a very fast start int othe game, since you would immediately know where to look for your targets (survivors hitting tier 1).
for survivors, they can completely counter this add on by simply bringing calm spirit into the trial, which is another point why i believe this wouldnt be too bad.
also, you wouldnt have to run around with a heartbeat in your ears the entire time, since the add on will only make his static field spread out, not the terror radius. so tracking the killer would still be possible like before.
i could imagine this being pretty strong with an impossible skillcheck build doc, but again: the static field =/= the terror radius.

Would the stationary doctor illusions stay as well as the moving ones? Or would it be in replacement of the stationary ones?

Probably a replacement.
