i haven't been playing the game for years to complain much...i started this year but man oh man this game is full of cheaters. lag switching is just normal in this game

if a killer cannot catch you baam lagswitching and reporting them doesn't do anything because you want us to record all our games to prove everything, that's insane!!! i'm pretty sure with the money the game made. the devs can for sure have a better cheating detecting program and actually ban these people from ever playing the game. there is a difference between cheating and awful gameplay like camping and tunnling i understand those aren't banable but cheating should be!

if your anti cheat doesn't detect cheaters then what's stopping the rest of us from cheating? whats stopping me from getting super sprint burst and see if i get banned or the report on me would be taken seriously or are they gonna be asked for a recording or else just let her cheat all she want

i really hate how this is not a big deal, cheaters ruin the game. don't make a pvp game when you're not ready to stop the cheaters or else you'll send a msg that its fine to cheat, you won't even get caught

Ehi, just to clear some misconception:

Recordings are needed sometimes (here the link to remind when recordings are needed: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/19450/game-rules-and-report-system#latest ).

Cheaters do get banned and reports are taken seriously.

Lag switching is kind of a different beast, but dedicated servers will help out a lot on that. So it's only just a matter of time before that aspect gets fleshed out as well. 👍️

While cheaters and exploiters do get banned, it's hard to show that when all they need is a smurf account and family share to keep doing what they do. On top of that, fairly certain that like with other anti-cheat software there'll be programs galore that get past them, so EAC alone just isn't going to cut it - hasn't cut it, to be frank.
