rank reset needs to stop
why am i constantly being tortured with rank reset? it's quite terrible to play with such bad survivors after it happens. going against baby killers can be fun sometimes but playing with baby survivors is simply terrible. the amount of games i play where i'm the only one who knows how to do anything is absolute garbage. make it harder to rank up if its such an issue. 9/10 people in this game ######### suck and i'm tired of playing with them.

Rank already has issues where you can play killer well and still get no pip or depip. That should be addressed first before a change to the rank reset to be implemented.

A monthly reset makes the game less enjoyable for new players but that's also due to being matched with an opponent as much as 10 ranks ahead.
obviously how pipping is calculated is an issue in and of itself too. it shouldn't be possible for everyone to pip or depip in a game, I feel.
I almost feel that there should be a speed bp bonus in some way. if a killer 4ks with only 9000 bp they shouldn't depip or if surv escape with only 9000 bp they shouldn't depip either just bcuz the game didn't last long enough for them to score higher. you shouldn't have to unhook or be have someone get hit to score higher.
but theres also situations where theres 5 gens 2 surv left and they hide not making any attempt at repairing gens. which can be difficult as a killer to end at that point because it is hiding for the sake of hiding. which would be more so on the surv not attempting to play the game.

A recurring rank reset without a rank-based reward incentive is one of the stupidest ideas anyone has ever implemented in a competitive video game. It's the worst of both worlds, and it's been this way for more than THREE YEARS.
