Does whispers work when a survivor is in a locker?

I waw just wondering about this. Since the description of the perk doesn't say anything about lockers.

    technically it should. cause lockers only block auras.

    Yes. Whispers is the only tracking perk that you cannot hide from. The only counter play is to stay near other survivors, but then you make it easier to pressure the group.
