Remaking perk system, so itll may work well with 60+ perks.

Random [you know what supposed to be there], that may re-organise the whole perk meta. Or not. You all may notice, that perk count in our game has striken 60+ perks on each side (+-, roughly said). And there is a lots of meta perks (BT, ADR) that are being used in every build, cause they have huge impact. But, lets look on some forgotten ones... Premonition (i dont underrate this perk btw), resilence, Q&Q and etc. They are not so impactfull as BT, but still are good. But, there is only 4 slots for your build, so usually, if you want to play seriously, you are going to run meta perks.

So, whats the stuff. Instead of 4 slot system, that exists atm, you may get an point-based system (CoD?). You may have an N amount of points to spend on perks. Lets say, it ll be 20, for example.

Rougly said, you have 3 tiers of how impactfull perk is:

  • Low impact - Perks, that arent so effective, as This Is Not Happenning, or Buckle Up as example. They may cost 1-2 points.
  • Midi impact - Perks, that are giving you good boost at any point. Botany knowledge, Sprint burst, Autodidact, Enduring, etc. They may cost 3-4 points.
  • High Impact - Perks, that give you additional ability. Saboteur, Self care, OR gives you huge tactical advantage - OoO, BBQ, etc. They may cost 5 points.

Whats the idea? Idea is about that you MAY run a few meta perks, and play the same as before, OR you may take a lots of different Low-Midi impact perks. Or you may spend 10 points on Low-Midi perks, and take some viable perks on the rest 10. Thats all i had to say.

List your opinion bellow, throw tomatos, rotten eggs, etc. Have a great time. Also, sorry for typos, again.

I really like the idea. It all then depends if the perks cost the right amount of points. If they do it will be a much better system then what we currently have.

Lets say we keep the 20 points we then need to make sure that the best perks for both sides cost 5 points each so you cant get what you currently would use + something else or it would be broken.

For example exhaustion perks at least DH and Sprint burst should be in the 5 point category and not lower.
