Play With Your Food Rework #5
That's right ladies and gentlemen. It's rework number 5. Number 5. Number 5.
Current Play With Your Food:
You become obsessed with one Survivor.
Every time you chase your Obsession and let them escape, you receive a Token up to a maximum of 3 Tokens.
Each Token increases your movement speed by 3/4/5%.
Each offensive action spends one Token.
The Killer can only be obsessed with one survivor.
Reworked Play With Your Food:
You become obsessed with one Survivor.
For every 5 seconds that you're in a chase with your Obsession, receive a Token, up to a maximum of 3 Tokens.
For each Token, the next pallet you perform the break action on will be destroyed 6/8/10% faster, up to a maximum of 18/24/30%.
When breaking a pallet, all Tokens are consumed.
The Killer can only be obsessed with one survivor.

Basically a worse brutal strength tbh

The problem with this idea is that it would essentially be a worse Brutal Strength. Your suggesting would put tier 3 of play with your food equivalent to tier 1 of Brutal Strength. On top of that, Brutal Strength you have the entire game and don't lose it after performing an action. The only reason why you would run this over Brutal Strength is because you don't have it unlocked.

The only fix for pwyf should be that missed hits don't cost you a stack. Especially with how prevalent dead hard is in the game.

I like the idea of mixing this perk with brutal strength and fire up for insta pallets, but losing all of your tokens upon breaking it wouldn't make it useful outside chases with your obsession. I think the perk should stay how it is with the speed buff, just do what @malloymk said.

No. Each stack of PWYF would give 10%. If you have 3 tokens (i.e. a 15 seconds chase) then the next pallet you break will be broken 30% faster.

Still only a ten percent up from Brutal Strength that disappears afterwards. Still would prefer Brutal Strength.

This is just a worse version of Brutal Strength, just like everyone says. First of all, you need to get all 3 for it to be better then Brutal Strength. But you only gain token when chasing your obsession. More often then not, on killers like Wraith who take long in chases, you're going to be breaking more then one pallet. So, you chase your obsession, down them, and assuming you didn't break a pallet, you get ONE pallet break out of many a bit faster then Brutal Strength. So Brutal Strength is just better, as you'll always be breaking at least 2 pallets in a chase, unless it's later on in the match when a lot of pallets are gone. Finally, you need to chase your obsession. So if you can't find your obsession, this perk is completely useless.
It barely does things faster then Brutal Strength.
It only works ONE time.
You need to chase your obsession to get it.
Not only would I run Brutal Strength over this any day, I would run the old Play With Your Food over this. Any killer that can make good use of this perk will make better use of Brutal Strength. The idea itself is flawed, as it only works on one pallet before you need to gain more tokens. In a chase with your obsession it might be alright, but for any other survivor it's a wasted slot.

If you wouldn't say you gain this effect only if you chase you obssesion then i would say this perk is ok but it only works by the obssesion so it would be still trash. And the second problem is, only with Burtal strengh this perk can only work well and two perks slots are not worthless you know.
