Suggestions for changes and implementations: Game Changes, Game Mode. Skins
Suggestions for game changes:
Survivors
Mending:
- Change it so that the Survivors have skill-checks on mending, perhaps where failed skill-checks causes further bleeding which in turn causes the bleed-out timer to shorten, up to a maximum of 3 failed skill-checks before going into dying state.
- It is also possible to add that being on a bleed-out timer could give a chance of having greater blood loss, so that the Survivor has to mini-mend outside of the "Mend" ability, which causes the bleed-out skill-checks to occur randomly when not performing any other action, and failing that skill-check causes the Survivor to have a mini-slow for a brief moment and lower their bleed-out timer by 33%.
This change could perhaps make it so that being on a bleed-out has consequences during chases, as the bleedout timer does not progress while in a chase, and mending cannot fail if holding down the button for mending while not being in the Killer's proximity.
- Finally, I also think it only makes sense that Mending should count as Healing in relation to perks.
Repair:
- Change it so that the Survivors repair ability is a channeled ability, so that the Survivors cannot stop the regression of a generator or have the generator count as being "under repair" by an insta-click. This would make far more sense and would perhaps be closer towards the balance between the Killer's interaction with the generators and the Survivor's, where the Killer has to use time to channel the application of generator regression while Survivors could simply literally tap the button to stop generator regression.
- Change it so that when the Survivors leave a generator after a failed skill check, the generator will go into regression mode. It only makes sense anyway if you ask me, it just exploded and the damage is not dealt with.
Killers
- I agree with the idea of bringing back the old pallet breaking animation, and think this is highly considerable, as suggested in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/86ih8h/bring_back_the_old_pallet_breaking_animation/
Game Mode:
And next to last, but absolutely not least to my heart, please consider at least testing the 2 Killers vs 8 Survivors mode for Dead By Daylight, like you did with Deathgarden. When it comes to changes for such a mode, perhaps you could make 3 Exit Gates and 3 Health States for the Survivors before going into dying state where after being injured the 2nd time, in which they would usually go into dying state, they would go on a bleed-out timer instead. Lastly, I'd suggest also making the repair base speed lowered by 30% for this mode as I understand it was done in the 2 vs 8 mode in Identity V.
Skin suggestions:
Ghost Face
- A less modern, more Nazgûl-like outfit for Ghost Face with dark ragged robes, with either an overshadowed cloaked face, a dark mask or perhaps a skull mask of some kind. I think it could fit great.
The Doctor
- I personally think The Doctor would greatly fit the Nazi Zombie Officer outfit from the norwegian comedy/splatter/horror movie series Død Snø as can be seen on this image: https://www.filmweb.no/incoming/article1145373.ece/representations/w1500/D%C3%B8d%20Sn%C3%B8%202
