Trapper Rework
Now, i also had a rework idea for The Trapper since a lot of players consider him weak. And it kinda sucks to see the mascot of the game in this state. So here is what i came up with.
The traps will behave the same and all, but now Trapper will have a new set of traps. Such as ceiling traps which can catch survivors when they move next to it. The trap will behave the same as the bear traps, except its on the ceiling.
Another trap would be generator traps, these traps would be a common add-on that replaces the ceiling traps. Generator traps would be types of traps that The Trapper can place on Generators, if a survivor works on the generator; it would immediately explode as usual, kinda like when you fail the skill check. Except the effect happens straight away. Unfortunately for the Trapper, it will be the only time the trap would work on the one generator. Of course it would work on other generators. But triggering the generator trap = the last time it could be triggered for the one survivor. Only for the generator that triggered.
The last trap would be the Palette trap. Trapper can always interact with palettes. He can now place a bear trap on the palette after a survivor interacts with it. Which would behave the exact same as the bear traps, except this trap traps a survivor on the palette. Allowing Trapper to carry them to the hook as usual.
Trapper will have some weaknesses still, like he can get trapped in the ceiling trap temporarily.

Trapper doesnt need a rework, just some minor tweaks.

Trapper is not as weak as people expect, and there are a lot more killers that deserve a rework first. I like the idea of the Trapper being able to place traps in less predictable locations, but I think that there are much less radical changes that could make him more fun to play. For example, all traps can start armed and more likely to appear near loops and generators although I would like to see a rework in the far future to make the Trapper more polished and distinguished as a killer.
