Perk-variants
Ok so I’m just gonna say it, even though this is potentially a really bad idea, I believe this game should have perk variants into the game.
We as a community are suggesting so many new things to this game just by every passing minute, and instead of waiting for the new chapter to come every 3-4 months, we should have a more creative avenue to perk recommendations other than simply having 3 dedicated survivor and killer perks being added to the game.
For almost every perk in the game, there should be at least one different but similar variant of the said perk, under the same name. The idea though is in order to obtain perk variants, the perk itself wold have to be Tier III. Let’s take the perk We’ll Make It as an example and add a couple variants to it:
- You receive no healing speed but bloodpoints for altruistic actions are 100% increased for 90 seconds.
- You receive 50% healing speed to others but also receive 50% healing speed for yourself, this effect lasts for only 45 seconds (half).
Now whether perk variants would be readily available with the perk itself, or if you would have to find it on the bloodweb is up to what other people think. I know this is going to receive criticism, and as a matter of fact I embrace it in open arms. Because this needs to be talked about, if this is done right, then not only will the community finally have a more bigger role with the game, but the game itself will finally almost never have a dull moment in sight, and with a more innovative input to new ideas. Not to say the perks being added to the game periodically are bad, but the frequency of when they come out are not enough in my opinion.
