Does small game still work on totem? If it doesn't does it work only on active totems?

It says in the park description that it only works on traps set by killers. Does that count as an active totem or dull totems or both?

    Small Game works on both hex and dull totems. As for the "only works on traps set by killers," my assumption is this is added because The Trapper starts the match with unset traps spread throughout the map that Small Game won't detect.
