What do people want to see?
I am a content creator and am wondering what the community would like to see on YouTube. I love Dead By Daylight and it's community and want to satisfy people in it. Depending on how many answers I get I might make a series on YouTube of community requests.

What kind of content do you make?
If it's animations, make animations. If it's RVB-style machinima, there's a vacant spot for that. If it's montages/play-by-plays, there's a niche for it. If it's anything else, go for that too.
Make what you want, and work to make it the best you can. If it's good, people will flock to it.

What @ElusivePukka said. The only way to succeed in any kind of content creation is to make things that you enjoy. If you start to gain an audience and they may specific requests then maybe you could consider branching out. But if you start out trying to please your audience instead of yourself, you're doomed before you've even begun.
