Kill Switch update: We have temporarily Kill Switched the Forgotten Ruins Map due to an issue that causes players to become stuck in place. The Map will remain out of rotation until this is resolved.

It depends on the add ons. If he has Flask Of Bleach, he'll catch up very quickly in a straight line. Base gas isn't a great distance closer though because of the slowdown on wind-up and release. It negates much of the slow effect. If you have a Starling Feather, you can negate the cooldown after release to a degree. Ultimately, a survivor has to be a bit greedy or has to mess up for Clown to get a hit at any pallet with a long side/short side set up. If they're on the long side, rotate them to the pallet and drop a bottle at the very edge of the long side away from the pallet, then double back and hug the loop perfectly. You'll barely get a hit before they can drop the pallet if they try to loop it. Of course, they can simply drop the pallet or run to the next pallet while you're throwing the bottle.

Sure, he can chase well, but he's really bad at finding people and pressuring gens. Survivors hide when they can see his massive form, and he's purely an M1 killer, which makes him more susceptible to pallets and windows, as per usual.

His 1v1 potential is quite good, though it depends on the loops survivors are at. But his 1v4 potential isn't that good, because even though he is quite good in chases, he has such terrible map pressure.
