Totem Buff
The Entity has heard our cries for Totems lasting only ten seconds and has decided to intervene. Curses are placed on Hex Totems that make it impossible to cleanse unless they lift the curse. Totems require a survivor to find the appropriate Seal and destroy it. Seals can spawn in a random location within the map. By attempting to Cleanse a Hex Totem, survivors reveal the aura of the seal. Seals can not be interacted with unless that survivor has revealed it's location. If one survivor reveals the Seal, another survivor can not destroy it unless they reveal it for themselves also. After a Seal is destroyed, the corresponding Hex Totem can be Cleansed as normal. Killers can not see auras of Seals.
(Note: This can also be a perk if they won't implement it to the core gameplay. Note 2: 5 Seals can be a normal thing that spawn in game. They can be "Duds" that are only there for decoration when no Hex is implemented. That way if a survivor sees a seal right away, they still won't know if there is a Hex yet.)

I would prefer just better totem placemets for all maps.
Like ######### is doing totem in the middle of map covered by nothing, just standing there, where everyone can see it 60+ meters away.

Survivors can learn totem placements. This at least guarentees a bit more time using your totem.
