Bad Perk Reworks (killer and survivor)
The drastic rework to Left Behind, and the minor (but huge) change to Dark Sense has caused both perks to be a lot stronger then before. Their changes have inspired me to make a discussion about huge and small reworks to perks everyone considers either bad, or not quite useful enough.
This doesn't include perks like Resilience which only need simple and minor number buffs, because I feel that doing so would turn this discussion into a novel.
These may be my changes, but I would love to see other peoples ideas!
SURVIVOR:
Hope
The growing odds of a successful escape fill you with hope and give you wings.
After a Generator is completed, you gain a 5% Haste Status Effect for 10/15/20 seconds.
As soon as the Exit Gates are powered, you gain a 5% Haste Status Effect for 120 seconds.
Lightweight
Your running is light and soft, making your tracks harder to follow.
Scratch Marks stay visible 1/2/3 seconds less than normal.
Footsteps and environmental noises are 15/20/25% quieter.
Open-Handed
Strengthens the potential of you and your team's Aura-reading abilities.
Increases Aura reading ranges by 8/12/16 metres.
Survivors can only be affected by one Open-Handed effect at a time.
Premonition
You have the undeniable capability to sense danger.
Get an auditory warning when looking in the direction of the Killer in a 45° cone within a range of 36 metres. The Killer's location is revealed to you for 1 second.
Premonition has a cool-down of 60/45/30 seconds each time it activates.
Premonition trumps any of the Killer's stealth abilities.
Saboteur
Unlocks the ability to sabotage without a Toolbox at 50% the normal Sabotage speed.
Hooks and Bear Traps you sabotage stay broken for an extra 10/20/30 seconds.
Increases the efficiency of Toolbox Sabotage by 10/15/20%.
Technician
You are apt at handling machinery with the greatest care and precision.
The noises caused by your Repairs and their hearing distance are reduced by 8 metres.
The sounds of Generators you are working on are reduced by 30/40/50%.
KILLER:
Beast of Prey
Your lust for a kill is so intense that your connection with The Entity is momentarily lost, making you totally unpredictable.
Upon entering a chase, your Red Stain fades over a time of 15 seconds.
The Red Stain disappears after gaining Bloodlust Tier I and stays hidden until you lose Bloodlust.
Gain 30/40/50% more Bloodpoints for actions in the Hunter Category.
Hangman's Trick
Your ingenious modifications to Hooks prevent tampering and permanent damage.
Hooks destroyed by sabotage or sacrifices repair automatically after 30/20/10 seconds.
Gain a notification when someone starts sabotaging the Hooks.
The automatic repair timer of sabotaged Bear Traps is reduced by 60 seconds.
A Survivor who sabotages a hook while in the Healthy State will become Injured.
Make Your Choice
When a Survivor rescues another from a Hook at least 32 metres away from you, Make Your Choice triggers and applies the Exposed Status Effect on the rescuer for 40/50/60 seconds.
Make Your Choice has a cool-down of 40/50/60 seconds.
Cool-down will reset early if the Survivor affected by Make Your Choice is put into the Dying State.
Predator
Your acute tracking ability allows you to hone in on disturbances left by running Survivors.
Footsteps and environmental noises caused by Survivors are 40/45/50% louder.
Unrelenting
You recuperate faster from missed attacks and can lunge from a farther distance.
The cool-down of missed attacks is reduced by 20/25/30%.
Increases your lunge by 10%.
